Salem health board meeting rescheduled for Monday
SALEM — The board of health’s June meeting has been rescheduled. The board of health was initially slated to meet for its June meeting Wednesday at 2 p.m. However, Health Commissioner Chelsea Clark announced Wednesday that the meeting needed to be rescheduled due to a lack of a qourum. The board will instead meet at 1 p.m. on Monday.
Columbiana County Park District board to meet Monday
The Columbiana County Park District board will meet in special session at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the park office, 130 Maple St., Lisbon. Agenda items to be discussed and possibly voted upon are review of financial reports, draft budget for the year of 2027, estimate for roof repairs of the park office and hiring of a second seasonal maintenance worker. Lepper Library to host several upcoming events
LISBON — Lepper Library in Lisbon will the following upcoming events:
— Political Turmoil History Program
With guest speaker Timothy Brookes
Thursday, June 18, 5:30 to 7 p.m.
In honor of the nation’s anniversary, this program will explore politics surrounding the Civil War and take a closer look at Ohio Congressman Clement Vallandigham and his view on the Civil War. Call to register.
