Green Township Fireman's Festival scheduled for Aug. 1
The Green Township Fire Department Association will hold its 81st annual Fireman's Festival at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 1 behind the fire station at 12210 Lisbon Road, Greenford. Dinner starts at 4:30 p.m., music at 5:30 p.m. and the Chinese Auction drawing promptly at 8:30 p.m. The chicken dinner will include half a chicken with green beans, mac and cheese and rolls prepared with the Greenford Ruritans recipe for $14; drive thru pick up available. There will also be a DJ and a vendor show.

Summer Reading Finale
Monday, July 27, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Dr. Dave (Whiz Bang) presents the World of Dinosaurs Science Finale. Following the program, prizes will be awarded and then pizza from Italo's will be served on the front lawn. Participants will also choose a free book for participating in the Summer Reading Program. Final reading tickets due by Thursday, July 23 by 8 p.m.
Paint with T – Fall Canvas Painting
Monday, Aug. 3, from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
Terry is back and will take participants step-by-step through painting this fall canvas. A supply fee of $30 is due at signup. No refunds after supplies have been ordered.
