Composer John Willams is known for creating musical scores for blockbuster movies including Star Wars, Home Alone, Harry Potter, Hook, and ET. This Friday, the Salem Quaker City Band will present "A Tribute to John Williams" at 7 p.m. at Waterworth Memorial Park in Salem. Admission is free. Smokey's Patty Wagon will be serving American classics, and Totally 80's Ice Ice Cream Shoppe will be serving desserts. Tickets will be sold for 50/50 drawings and for prizes donated by local businesses and friends of the concert series. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. Parking is available at the park's Sunset Boulevard entrance, or the Superior Avenue entrance, with limited handicap accessible parking.
