Salem Public Library and Salem Community Theatre present program on American history

Outreach and Programming Assistant Sarah Carroll welcomes attendees to Friday’s event. She said that the Salem Public Library has been proud and excited to develop and offer a full slate of U.S. 250 programming, and that planning for the Voices of Freedom event began in November, and that the Salem Community Theatre had been collaborating on the project since December. Carroll thanked the attendees for their participation and encouraged them to reflect on the meaning and weight of the speeches presented throughout the evening, and their impact on American history.
