The Winona Ruritan Club recently awarded three college scholarships to granddaughters and a grandson of club members. From left, Bob Doyle Sr., grandfather of Will McEver, who recently graduated from Fox Chapel High School near Pittsburgh and will be attending Penn State University in the fall studying mechanical engineering; Grace Elizabeth Lance, granddaughter of Bob Lance, far right, who graduated near the top of her class from Springfield Local High School in Uniontown and will be attending Bowling Green State University in the fall to be an Education major and eventually teach in the fourth to ninth grades after graduation. Olivia Clare Winn, granddaughter of Phillip Winn was not available. She graduated from Glenelg High School in Glenelg, Maryland, and is working at the University of Maryland in the Alzheimer Research Unit.
