Banquet in Salem
The Dine in or Drive Thru Banquet in Salem will be served from 5 p.m. until the food is gone Monday at the Salem Memorial Building, sponsored by Lou Markovich in memory of his wife Cathy. The menu will include meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, green beans, applesauce, fresh vegetables and fruit, cookies. Dine in will park in designated area behind the building and proceed to front door. Drive thru will line up in lot behind the building; one meal per individuals in the vehicle. No parking in the library lot. TQGIBT ice cream social
That Quilt Group I Belong To (TQGIBT) will meet at 7 p.m. Aug. 18 at The Rotary Building at Fair Park on Oak Street in Canfield. Starting at 4 p.m., before the regular meeting, President Carolyn Artle will conduct a short workshop on making a purse from three men's neckties. An ice cream social will follow.
