This Sunday's free concert at Waterworth Memorial Park in Salem will feature New Wave Nation. The band, which was founded in 1998, is dedicated to recreating the iconic music of the 1980s. New Wave Nation will take crowd members back in time to the "Decade of Decadence." Their constantly evolving playlist keeps both the band and the audience on their toes, ensuring every performance feels fresh and exciting. The free, family friendly, concert will start at 6 p.m. Tickets will be sold for 50/50 drawings and for prizes donated by local businesses and friends of the concert series. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. Jim's Roadhouse Burgers and Beef will be serving sandwiches and sides, and Totally 80's Ice Ice Cream Shoppe will be serving treats. Parking is available at the park's Sunset Boulevard entrance, or the Superior Avenue entrance, with limited handicap accessible parking.
