ROGERS - Backyard Live Event Center in Rogers will present a special night of Christian worship featuring Dove Award nominee Emerson Day at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Emerson Day signed her first record deal with Fair Trade Services in 2022. Since then, she has continued writing and recording music, sharing her personal testimony through every powerful lyric and unmistakable, raspy note.
Her introduction to Christian music came with Micah Tyler's single "People Like Us (feat. Emerson Day)", released in January 2024. The song beautifully shares the message of God's love for ordinary people--"people like you and people like me"--making it a natural fit for Emerson's mission of sharing the transforming power of God's redemption.
The evening will also feature performances by Chad Chaney, Mike Cunningham and Called to Be Saints, plus an opportunity to meet special guest actor Brett Varvel.
Backyard Live Event Center is located on the grounds of Rogers Market, 45625 state Route 154.
