Springfield Township Historical Society Lecture & Rummage Sale
The Springfield Township Historical Society Museum continues its "Afternoon at the Museum" speaker series on Sunday, Sept. 13. Paul Rohrbaugh will be discussing his book "Driving It Home - GM Lordstown Complex 1956-2019." He will present details of the history of this car and van making plant that was a keystone to the Mahoning Valley's economy. The STHS museum opens at 1:30 p.m., program starts at 2 p.m. This program is free and open to everyone. The museum is at 14188 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road, (state Route170), Petersburg. Also, STHS will also host its third annual Rummage Sale at the museum on Sept. 18 & 19 (Friday and Saturday) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. They will be accepting donated items on Sunday, Sept, 13 from 3 to 4 p.m.; Tuesday, Sept. 15 from 3 to 6 p.m.; and Wednesday, Sept. 16 from 3 to 6 p.m. No clothes, books, upholstered furniture, baby items, or medical items. TQGIBT Show and Tell
That Quilt Group I Belong To (TQGIBT) will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 15 at The Rotary Building at Fair Park on Oak Street in Canfield. The September program will be a Show and Tell of Canfield Fair entries. The entire program time is alloted to sharing the quilts and other items entered in the Canfield Fair. This Storytime is geared toward babies and toddlers. Come sing songs, listen to a story, and play. Older siblings are welcome to join in also.
Preschool Story Hour

Sing songs, listen to stories, and make crafts. Stay and play after the program. Geared toward children 3-5 but younger and older siblings are welcome.
Teen Activity Hour
Saturday at 11 a.m.
Come hang out and play cards. Expect big laughs, good vibes, and some seriously fun competition. Registration is requested.
Author Amanda Flower
Saturday at 1 p.m.
USA Today bestselling author Amanda Flower, whose work includes over 50 titles and three Agatha Awards will speak. Her beloved series includes the Emily Dickinson Mystery series, the Wright Brothers Mystery series, and Amish Mysteries. In this special event, she will share insights into her latest historical series and her creative process. Reservations are recommended.
Writers' Group
Saturday, Sept. 5 and Oct. 3 at 2 p.m.
