Salem Design Review Board public hearing
The City of Salem's Design Review Board will hold a public hearing at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, in council chambers at city hall to discuss proposed landmark status for the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, 870 E. State St. Interested persons are encouraged to attend and submit questions and comments in person. Written comments from the public sent to City of Salem DRB, 231 S. Broadway Ave., must be received by Oct. 1 to be considered at the hearing.
Across The Pond with The DoughBros to perform at The CAT
The Columbiana Arts Theater will welcome Across The Pond with The DoughBros for a special evening of live music on Friday, Oct. 2, at 7 p.m. The performance will take place at The Columbiana Arts Theater (The CAT), 5 N. Featuring Steve Vuich and Brian Bonhomme of Across The Pond, the evening will include a mix of original music and covers of some of their favorite songs. Joining them onstage will be Bill Dodd of The DoughBros, a talented multi-instrumentalist, along with Jim Behmer of The River Riders on backing vocals. Together, the musicians bring a combined 10 decades of musical experience to the stage.
