New Garden Methodist Church Wood Fired Chicken Dinner Drive-Thru
New Garden Methodist Church, 7165 state Route 9, Hanoverton, will host its fourth annual Wood Fired Chicken Dinner Drive-Thru from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or sold out Sunday, Oct. 25. The meal will include half a chicken, baked beans, cole slaw, roll with butter and homemade brownie for $15.
Mile Branch Grange monthly drive-thru soup sale
Mile Branch Grange, 495 Knox School Road, Alliance, will hold its monthly drive-thru soup sale on Thursday, Oct. 8. Cost is $9 per quart; cash only, no cards. This month's soups will be loaded potato and stuffed pepper. Soup must be preordered by noon on Wednesday, Oct. 7. Soup will be available for pick up from 4 to 6 p.m. Call 330-821-8023 to reserve soup. Leave name, phone number, type of soup and number of quarts. It will be packaged and delivered directly to your car.
