COLUMBIANA - The Grand Finale of the free Idabelle Firestone Fall Concert Series by the Dave Bank Big Band and tribute artists will take place on Sunday, Sept. 27, at 3:00 p.m. The performance has been moved to the Columbiana High School instead of Firestone Park because of the expected crowds who will be in attendance at this one-time-only performance.
"The caliber of entertainment these performers will bring to our stage is not seen very often in Columbiana, and the committee is so thrilled to be able to present such superior entertainment without ticket charges to our concert patrons " said Pat Tingle, founder of the Idabelle Firestone Fall Concert Series. "We hope many in our community will turn out for this exciting event and to support our efforts to bring in such high quality entertainment, " she added.
Backed by the Dave Banks 16-piece full orchestra, three talented and much-sought-after tribute singers will step into the shoes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. - Nicholas Brooks, a headliner from Las Vegas who is flying into Columbiana especially for this show - for a live performance of the comedic antics and nostalgic hit songs made famous by these three legendary stars.
No advanced reservations or tickets are required. Admission and parking at the lot at the Athletic Department entrance to Columbiana High School is free. The doors will open for seating at 2 p.m.
The free Idabelle Firestone Fall Concert Series is being sponsored by the Firestone Park Cultural and Custodial Comittere, a 501(c) 3 organization. For information, visit Facebook or call the Firestone Legacy and Event Center at 330-397-4706.
