Idabelle Firestone Fall Concert Series concerts continue

COLUMBIANA -- The free Idabelle Firestone Fall Concert series sponsored by the Firestone Cultural and Custodial Committee continues to entertain the community and surrounding areas with its Sunday afternoon performances, rain or shine.

Coming up this Sunday, Sept. 6, is the Tamburitzans, a national touring company based out of Pittsburgh dedicated to perpetuating the international culture of the Eastern European nations with dazzling music, intricate dancing and authentic colorful costumes. They will appear at 3 p.m. at the Columbiana High School Auditorium, the only performance out of the entire season that will not be held outdoors at Firestone Park. Admission and parking is free and no tickets are required. Doors open at 2 p.m.

Coming up on Sunday, Sept. 13, and back by popular demand, is the Suburban Brass Quintet at 3 p.m. at the Idabelle Firestone Gathering Place and Garden outdoor hilltop amphitheater at Firestone Park, playing patriotic music, as well as many of your favorite tunes. (Rain venue Grace Church, 140 S. Main St.)

Attendance and parking for the outdoor performances is free and attendees may enter the main entrance to the park and proceed to the parking lot where shuttles will be available to take visitors to the outdoor hilltop performance amphitheater and covered lawn seating.
