Talon Antolak, left, was sworn in as the Salem Police Department's newest fill-time officer by Mayor Cyndi Baronzzi Dickey Thursday. Antolak graduated from high school in Venica, Florida in 2020 before serving as an infantryman in the United States Marine Corps for four years.
