The Salem High School Alumni Association supports its mission of fostering student development by offering Classroom Grants of $100 to $500 to K-12 teachers in the Salem City School District. This program helps enhance educational opportunities, enrich the classroom environment, and support the academic, physical, and mental growth of Salem students. The application process found online at www.salemohioalumni.org is currently available for Salem teachers until Wednesday, Sept. 30.
Grant recipients are selected by the SHSAA Scholarship and Grant Committee with approval from the Board of Trustees. Awards are made on a first-come, first-served basis, and funds are disbursed directly to the school district. In 2025, SHSAA proudly provided $11,282.82 to Salem classrooms. Since 2024, 56 grants have been awarded, totaling $22,821.61.
