Mile Branch Grange Allergy Free Trunk-or-Treat
Mile Branch Grange is sponsoring their 10th Annual Allergy Free Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 2 to 4 p.m. at 495 Knox School Road, Alliance. Mile Branch Grange members are hosting this event to provide a safe environment for children with food allergies or other health issues, who often miss traditional trick or treat to protect the child from possible reactions. The event is open to all children ages through 14. Children need to bring their own container for treats. Treats will include small toys, coloring books, pencils, etc. There will be no food at the event. The event will be held rain or shine. Eyes on Wellsville Haunted Trail
Eyes on Wellsville will host its Haunted Trail beginning at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Hammond Park. It is a guided walk through the park in groups of eight maximum. Mini Eyes will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. for children, which includes a hayride and picture of pumpkin to color to take home. There will be a concession stand available at both events. Hot dogs, walking tacos, hot chocolate, water, juice and more. Entry to either will be a cash donation or a new toy. The event kicks off the organization's toy drive, its biggest of the year.
St. George Altar & Rosary Society Christmas Indoor Yard Sale
St. George Altar & Rosary Society will hold a Christmas Indoor Yard Sale Saturday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church hall, 278 W. High St., Lisbon. The 25 displayers will have new and slightly used Christmas and Miscellaneous items which will include handmade and household items. A 50/50 raffle, a basket raffle and food and drinks will also be sold that day. For additional information contact Deb at 330-277-1155.
Doobie Brothers tribute band in Minerva
China Grove, a tribute to the Doobie Brothers, takes the stage at the historic Roxy Theatre in downtown Minerva on Friday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. Tickets for the performance are $25 and can be purchased in several ways: at the Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce office, 203 N. Market St., by calling 330-868-7979, at the Roxy Theatre the day of the show or online at https://minervachamber.ticketspice.com/china-grove-doobie-brothers-tribute (+ service fee). Downtown restaurants will be open throughout the evening, and concessions will be available at the theatre. The village's Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area will be in effect 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Patrons may purchase beverages in official DORA cups from the Normandy Inn, Stoney Inn, Que Pasa Mexican Restaurant, Tipsy Teller Urban Winery, and Sandy Springs Brewing Company and carry them throughout the designated area, including into the Roxy. No outside beverages may be brought into the Roxy unless they are in DORA cups. The Roxy Theatre is located at 114 N.
