Salem High School Key Club Members and Salem High School students and staff, with the help of the Kiwanis Club of Salem, have superseded its goal of collecting 200 pairs of socks since Oct. 7 as part of Socktober. As of Wednesday, Oct. 28, they have collected 765 pairs of socks. The socks will be donated to three different causes - the Columbiana County Department of Job and Family Services for foster children, the Alliance Domestic Violence Shelter and Salem High School's Quaker Closet. The students and staff are thanking everyone who has donated. Shown is Key Club President Meredith Powell, left, and Vice President Jackson Dowd. (Submitted photo)
