Salem Historical Society to host pen house Saturday

SALEM — Salem Historical Society will host an open house on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. Guests are invited to enter through the Pearce House at 208 S. Broadway Ave. and explore the entire campus free of charge. Kayak Krawl and Village Comes Alive set for this Saturday

EAST LIVERPOOL — Birdfish Brewing Company and the Friends of Beaver Creek State Park will be teaming up Saturday for the Kayak Krawl fundraiser that will support the creation of an all-accessible playground near the youth fishing pond in Beaver Creek State Park. While tickets for the actual kayak trip have been sold out for some time, there will still be many events for visitors to enjoy between noon and 5 p.m. at Pioneer Village in the park.
