Humtown president/CEO named Ohio’s Small Business Person of the Year for 2026

COLUMBIANA – Ahead of National Small Business Week, the U.S. Small Business Administration announced this year’s Small Business Persons of the Year winners from the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Guam. Salem Music Study Club to resume regular schedule

The Salem Music Study Club will resume its regular meetings at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the parlor beside the Emmanuel Lutheran Church. There will be a meeting after the program by member Jeff Davis named God’s Light. All dues that have not been collected by members are welcome as well as guests. Scholarships will be concluded and discussed unless there are additional performances needed. The club is a member of the Ohio Federation of Music Clubs and the National Federation of Music Clubs. There will be refreshments afterwards.

New all-way stop intersection

The current two-way stop condition at the state Route 165 and Beloit-Snodes/South Range Road intersection in Smith Township is scheduled to be converted to an all-way stop on Wednesday, April 29. The reason for the conversion is to improve safety at this intersection.

LISBON — Cyclists from across the country will once again descend on Columbiana County as the Coal Country Roubaix returns on April 25, bringing with it a full weekend of racing, community events and small-town charm.
