PERRY TOWNSHIP — Trustees approved several purchases in its meeting Monday. The board of trustees voted unanimously to approve the purchase of 40 feet of 36-inch pipe from Marlboro Supply for $1,526 for storm repairs on Egypt Road, and the purchase of four new tires for the road department’s Ford F-550 dump truck from Salem Tire for $1,543.84. Not guilty plea entered in vehicular manslaughter case

LISBON — A Rogers man entered a not guilty plea Monday to vehicular manslaughter in the 2025 death of 79-year-old Rebecca A. Myers of Lisbon in a crash. Donald K. Hollingshead, 31, Adams Road, appeared for arraignment in Columbiana County Municipal Court for the misdemeanor charge, indicating to the court that he’ll be representing himself. LISBON — The jury trial in the aggravated murder case against Curtis D. Holland for the 2021 shooting of Brycen Douglas has been continued, with Holland hiring a new defense attorney.
