Columbiana School District eyes streamlined communication

COLUMBIANA — The Columbiana School District wants to make communication more streamlined between staff, parents and students. District Superintendent Dr. Don Mook provided information to the board of education this month outlining the communications app he recommends for that streamlining. The app, apptegy, streamlines communication under one roof, he said. Court News LISBON — A Salem man accused of drug charges was sentenced to 12 months in prison during a sentencing hearing in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court. Jerry L. Malone II, 45, West Fifth Street, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs and two counts possession of drugs, all fifth-degree felonies. He also received a mandatory $5,000 fine. Malone possessed methamphetamine, alprazolam and clonazepam on July 23, 2024.
