Court Report

LISBON – Two men accused of breaking into properties in the East Liverpool area pleaded guilty and were sentenced immediately on Tuesday afternoon in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court.

Mark S. Fraser Jr., 40, Alpha Street, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to burglary and was sentenced to five years in prison while granted credit for 304 days already served in the county jail. He also was ordered to make restitution within six months of his release from prison.

Court documents state Fraser on May 13, 2013 trespassed into the occupied structure of Michael Densmore, Homestead Drive, East Liverpool, with the purpose of committing a criminal offense.

Chad W. Hartley, 35, West Fourth Street, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to three counts breaking and entering. He is accused of breaking into the Antique Mall on Nov. 12, 2013; July 20, 2013 and Oct. 24, 2012.

Hartley was sentenced to 24 months in prison and to make restitution within six months of his release from prison.

LISBON – Scott E. Kopras, 21, Dresden Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to attempted possession of drugs, a first-degree misdemeanor. The charge was reduced in the plea agreement from a fifth-degree felony, possession of drugs.

He was accused of attempting to obtain heroin on May 31, 2013.

Kopras faces up to 180 days in jail, $1,000 and a five-year license suspension. Sentencing is set for May 5.

LISBON – Nicole L. Wright, 24, Steubenville, was sentenced in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to nine months in the Reformatory for Women in Marysville for two counts possession of drugs. Her license was suspended for 12 months. Wright had heroin in her possession on Dec. 7, 2012 and June 6, 2013.
