– James Cooper, Schneider Road, Hanoverton, reported at 4:50 p.m. Thursday Kathryn Davis took some items to the scrap yard even though he had a protection order preventing her from doing so. However, after reviewing the protection order it appears Davis has the order preventing only Cooper from removing items.
– An Alliance man reported at 7:15 p.m. Thursday he believes he is being sexually harassed by someone with Alliance Staffing. The man said he has been repeatedly called back for urine tests despite always testing clean and on Thursday the woman performing the test reportedly had him drop his pants to his ankles, then began rubbing his legs and around his genital area. He said he felt violated, but did not want to report the incident to the company for fear he would be let go.
– Steve Yanni, Richardson Avenue, Negley, reported at 4:54 p.m. Thursday he was receiving threats from a man he knows.
– Kathy Talamantes, Walnut Ridge, Salineville, reported at 7:53 p.m. April 23 her boyfriend, George Surmaceviz grabbed her by her right arm at Salem hospital on April 21 and left a big bruise. He was reportedly angry because he did not like where she was going to park. Deputies encouraged her to file a report with Salem police.
– Tyler Smith, state Route 45, Lisbon, reported at 9 p.m. Thursday a child with short, blond hair walked over to his home from the Frola. He thought the child’s actions where strange.The boy told him he would buy his truck for $2,000.
– A possible burglary in progress was reported at a Dutchtown School Road, Rogers, home at 8:43 p.m. Thursday. Patrick Palmer and his young daughter Chloe told deputies she had been in her bedroom when she heard banging in the garage, which is right on the other side of the wall. She called deputies and grabbed a bat for protection. She then heard a car pull out. Palmer reported his welding torches and tanks were taken and there were welding rods laying all over the ground. Deputies went to the home of David Bradley, state Routed 154, Rogers, and while there Bradley and Stephen Westover, pulled up the driveway. Deputies asked to see in the trunk of Bradley’s vehicle and found a red Lincoln arc welder and a blue bucket of welding sticks. Deputies contacted Palmer and confirmed the items belonged to him. Westover reportedly said he had purposely stolen the welder from Palmer and he did not feel bad about it because Palmer did not pay him for work he did for him. Bradley was charged with receiving stolen property and Westover was charged with burglary.

– David Holland, East Washington Street, Lisbon, reported at 4:06 a.m. Tuesday he was outside at his upholstering business on Washington Street when he heard a gunshot from the area of Grant Street and Steubenville Pike. He did not see a flash or anything, nor did he see any activity afterward. Deputies checked the area of Grant Street and south on Steubenville Pike, but found nothing. A resident in the area also told deputies he heard a gunshot, which woke him up, but he did not know which direction the sound came from.
– A Rogers area boy was voluntarily transported to a local hospital Tuesday night by Negley EMS after he reportedly threatened suicide.
– Caroline Hart, Vincent Road, Salem, reported at 4:38 p.m. Tuesday she has been finding random rocks in her yard and branches broken off of her trees. She believes she knows who is doing this.
– Kristen Christensen, Salem Alliance Road, Salem, reported at 5:49 p.m. Tuesday her 3-year-old daughter was assaulted by an 8-year-old boy. The child reportedly struck the girl in the face with a fiberglass yard reflector. Deputies spoke to the boy’s mother, Melonie Copen, who said she did not know anything had happened. They talked to her son in the playroom and he claimed he had been swinging the yard reflector around and accidentally struck the girl. Copen agreed to speak to Christensen and said she would also discipline her son.
– Bob Durbin, state Route 7, Columbiana, reported at 4:07 p.m. Tuesday he found someone had cut the liner of his swimming pool and his chocolate lab is missing.
– Heather Pittman, Bandy Road, Alliance, reported at 5:28 p.m. Tuesday there were three suspicious men in a gold Chevy Cavalier without a registration going up and down the road selling cleaning supplies. They were last seen heading toward Homeworth Road. Deputies checked the area, but did not find them.
– Loretta Dase, Francis Drive, Wellsville, reported at 11:11 a.m. Tuesday she received a priority mail letter with a check inside from Firehouse Garage Inc. for $2,500. She took it to the bank and found it to be a fake. The check came from Firehouse Garage Inc., 800 Louisiana Ave., Sebastian, Fla., 32952-4119 and the return address was from David John, Gladys Dickson Charitable Tr., 980 W. Citizens Blvd., Leesburg, Fla., 3478-3959.

– Julia Sheffield, state Route 154, Lisbon, reported at 3:39 p.m. Monday someone stole her pigmy goat. She heard a suspicious vehicle the night before, but did not notice the goat missing until the next day.
– At the request of the highway patrol, deputies met with Columbiana police at 4:52 a.m. Saturday after a 15-year-old Kibler Road, New Waterford, girl, who ran away from home during the night was caught heading to see her boyfriend in East Palestine. Deputies took the girl home to her parents.
– Jennifer Mitchell, Newton Falls, reported at 10:01 p.m. Saturday her ex-husband and her 17-year-old son got into a fight earlier in the evening. The father grabbed the boy around the neck and either slapped or punched him. The son did not want his mother to call deputies. The father told deputies he lost his temper. Mitchell and her son had not decided if they wished to file charges.
– Kathy Troyer, Gavers Road, Hanoverton, reported at 6:59 p.m. Saturday someone was shooting guns in the area of her home. Deputies responded several times, but did not find a source.
– Tiffany Styen, Boardman, reported at 6:10 p.m. Saturday her ex has full custody of the children and will not allow her to speak with them. She was concerned something may be wrong. Deputies found no vehicles in the driveway and were unable to reach anyone there. Several calls went straight to voicemail.
– Barbara Martin, Holmeswood, Winona, reported at 6:10 p.m. Monday her 14-year-old foster son walked away after he was punished. Deputies found him in the area of the intersection of Winona and Whinnery roads. He was taken back to the house.
– Joanie Lugowski, Hookstown, Pa., reported at 2:25 p.m. Monday she broke up with Robert E. Lee the day after Christmas. She still has a few belongings at his home and would like to pick up, but he will not cooperate when she tries to make arrangements. She claimed he also threatened to use Olivia Lugowski’s Social Security number fraudulently, but so far has not carried through with any threats he has made to her knowledge.

– Brianna Beaudoin, Richardson Avenue, Negley, reported at 1:07 a.m. Sunday her live-in boyfriend, Ronald Corbin, was arguing with her and they went their separate ways for a few hours, but when he came home between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and midnight he became violent with her. He reportedly began to choke her and her 13-year-old daughter jumped on his back to defend her mother. He reportedly shoved her off into a shelf of DVDs, breaking the shelf and allegedly slammed the front door on the teen’s foot, injuring her. Beaudoin told deputies she ran across the street to a neighbor’s to try to get help, but Corbin allegedly followed her, put his arm around her throat and dragged her back to the house. He began yelling awful accusations at both the mother and daughter. Corbin claimed Beaudoin pulled a 22-caliber rifle on him and he took it from her and tossed it in the yard. She denied the accusation stating she does not touch guns after her late husband’s death. Corbin was charged with domestic violence.
– A Whipporwill Avenue, Hanoverton, man reported at 4:30 p.m. Sunday there was an ATV on the roadway. Deputies found two ATVs in a driveway and spoke to the owner, who said he just bought them for his other property and was just testing them out. He was warned to keep them off the roadways.
– A mother living on Buck Road, Beloit, reported at 8:05 p.m. Sunday her son admitted he took LSD the night before while he was out with friends. She wanted him transported to the hospital to be checked out. The boy agreed to go and was taken by EMT to SRMC for an evaluation.
– Belinda Puchajda, state Route 45, Lisbon, reported at 12:24 p.m. Friday she recently received an email from KSU Choice Card confirming she had successfully changed her email address. She called the number on the back of the card and was told to call back during regular business hours. She then spoke to several people on Thursday and was able to get her email and other information changed back to what it should be. She is now concerned about identity theft.
– Jerry Townsend, Hartley Avenue, Alliance, reported at 11:42 p.m. Sunday he and his soon-to-be ex-wife argued and she pushed him before she left. They are currently separated and he wanted the incident to be on file.
– Steve McVay, Trinity Church Road, Lisbon, reported at 5:24 p.m. Sunday he contacted a tow truck to remove Marsha Stone’s vehicle because he said she was parked in his parking spot. Deputies spoke to the owner of the property, Lillian McVay, and both Steve McVay and Stone. It was agreed each tenant would have one parking spot.
– Jessica Cross, West Oregon Avenue, Sebring, reported at 6:42 p.m. Sunday a woman on Lisbon-Canfield Road, Salem, was being held against her will. Deputies checked on the woman, who said she was fine. Everything appeared normal.
– Larry Taylor reported at 6:08 p.m. Saturday he has heard there are people riding ATVs on his property on St. Jacob-Logtown Road, Lisbon. Nobody was there at that time, but he wanted it known he does not want anyone there on the property.
-Tina Dasher, Torma Road, Wellsville, requested to have an intoxicated man removed from her property at 8:49 p.m. Sunday. When deputies arrived they found a vehicle leaving and the passenger was Richard Davis, the man in question. Both Davis and Dasher told deputies there was no physical confrontation.

– Nancy Sines, Richie School Road, Hanoverton, called at 2:46 p.m. Friday to report threats made to her via text message from her late husband’s daughter. Sines is in the process of selling the home that Sines and her husband lived in. Her stepdaughter is upset that Sines won’t let her live in the home and pay rent instead. Instead, her stepdaughter will receive half of the money from the sale of the home. Sines was advised on how to obtain a restraining order.
– Mike Grimm, South Lane Drive, Hanoverton, called at 6:41 p.m. Friday to file a harassment report. An acquaintance from Georgia is sending unwanted texts. He was advised to block her number. Grimm was also told due to the distance between Georgia and Hanoverton, there was very little more that could be done.
– Edward Wagoner, Homeworth Road, Alliance, called at 8:30 p.m. Friday to report he owes Kenny Justice, Alliance, $650. Justice told him if he did not get his money, he knew a debt collector. Justice also stated the collector has a baseball bat, and he does not care if he busts up legs or property. Edward wanted a report on file because he knows he owes the money but does not have it currently.
– Cristin Pierce, Bye Road, New Waterford, called at 11:26 p.m. Friday to report that despite her open case with Children Services, which does not want her child, Kailynn Duday, to have contact with Dustin Pierce. She noticed that Pierce was texting her daughter without her consent. She wanted a report on file due to the active case with Children Services. She was advised to also contact Children Services.
– Eric Metz, state Route 154, Rogers, reported Sunday someone entered his barn and opened all the doors, letting out all the animals. Three chickens and seven peacocks were taken, as well as an incubator with an egg turner filled with three dozen chicken eggs.
– Debra Watson, Buck Road, Beloit, reported Saturday someone entered her home sometime between Thursday and Friday and took a 48-inch flatscreen television and a Blue Rey player from her bedroom as well as 12 DVDs from the kitchen counter.
– Tracey Sanlo, Teegarden Road, Hanoverton, reported Sunday she was using her card at Walmart and it was declined, after which she learned her card had been used twice at a Dublin, Ohio, Walmart for transactions totaling $54.94 and $304.94, the second of which was declined. Sanlo still has her card but said during both of the transactions in Dublin a card was swiped.
– A welfare check was requested on a Columbiana-Lisbon Road, Columbiana man after his brother had not heard from him in a few days. Deputies arrived to find his brother had entered through a bathroom window and found his brother deceased of apparent natural causes. Deputies stayed on the scene to assist the coroner.
– Deputies were sent to a Hillcrest Circle home Saturday in reference to a possible domestic dispute, where Marissa Murphy reported she and her boyfriend, Zach Peterson, were in an argument when he pushed her out of the way while trying to leave the residence. Peterson told deputies that Murphy refused to leave his home, where she does not reside, and he moved her out of the way. Both refused to file charges, and Murphy left and was advised not to return.
– Gary Albitz, Brookdale Avenue, East Palestine, reported Saturday he was mowing and heard a loud booming noise and his mower stopped. Upon inspection, Albitz found he had run over a rope with a fastener attached that appears to have been left on his property from someone installing new power lines. He was advised this would be a civil matter.
– Deputies responded Saturday to a Homeworth Road residence in reference to animals at large, where Roger Wilson reported there were two pigs on his property and he did not know whose they were. Contact was made with Tracy Finnegan of Center Road who arrived on the scene, and the pigs returned to the Finnegan property.

– Kirk Keyes, state Route 518, Lisbon, reported a domestic argument at 6:36 p.m. Wednesday about family issues with his mother. The mother said the same thing about the argument and Keyes was gone.
– Telina Mayle, Bye Road, Negley, reported at 8:49 p.m. Wednesday she got into an argument with her soon-to-be ex-husband at their home. Both agreed no threats were made and they would separate for the evening.

– Tonya Sevek, Clarks Mill Road, Salineville, reported at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday two boys and a girl broke into a home, stole some things and were walking toward state Route 39. Deputies checked the area, but did not find them. Upon arrival at the Clarks Mill Road home, deputies were told some relatives had stopped the suspects at Southern Local High School. Deputies went there and spoke with Roger and Adam Sevek, relatives of Tonya Sevek. The two men were with two 12-year-old boys and an 11-year-old girl, who were crying and apologizing. Tim Sevek said he had been plowing the field on his tractor when he saw the three children coming around the house. He ran toward the house yelling and the children ran off through the field. Several windows were broken and items were missing from the home. The children were turned over to their father and the matter will be sent to juvenile court for review.
– Michelle McCuean, state Route 344, Columbiana, reported at 2:32 p.m. Monday her mother has been harassing her. Deputies contacted Connie Datillio and warned her to stop contacting her daughter.
– Kristin Hoyle, Salem Alliance Road, Salem, reported at 1:07 p.m. Monday she found numerous fraudulent charges on her debit card totaling nearly $158. She contacted her bank.
– Dawnitta Crespo, North Beaver Street, Lisbon, reported at 5:32 p.m. Tuesday she was eastbound on U.S. Route 62 when her husband, Robert Crespo, started flipping out and banging his head on the dash and passenger door. She claimed he then grabbed the wheel of the vehicle forcing it left of center. She managed to get control back and it jumped the curb, spun out and came to rest in the grass in a yard. Robert Crespo told deputies his wife was punching him in the head and that is why she lost control. He did have swollen red marks on the left side of his head, but would not cooperate with filing charges on Dawnitta Crespo. Deputies cited her for failure to control and Robert Crespo was given a ride to a home on state Route 172.

– Sandra A. Reynolds, state Route 45, Lisbon, reported at 6:08 p.m. Monday she was assaulted by her boyfriend, Michael Oates Jr., Desellem Road, Lisbon. Reynolds claimed Oates pulled her out of her vehicle and then struck her in the mouth. Charges are pending.
– Rob Angus, Pancake-Clarkson Road, Negley, reported at 4:32 p.m. Monday he heard a loud noise and went out to find Kevin Gregory outside in a blue 2014 Honda CRV. Angus said he yelled at Gregory, who told him he should have better locks and left. Angus checked his garage and found someone had kicked in the door to the garage, damaging the frame. A tire was missing, which had belonged to Gregory when he stayed at the house in the past. Charges are pending.
– Natalie Datillio, Richardson Avenue, Negley, reported at 3:38 p.m. Monday, her tax person informed her that when her taxes were submitted the Social Security number has been blocked by the IRS.
– Courtney Rooth, state Route 7, New Waterford, told deputies she had been playing on her phone Sunday when he neighbor, Amy Cooper, came over yelling at her and calling names, claiming she was recording her children. On Monday, Rooth said Cooper was recording her while she was out recording children playing with battery operated cars on her own property. Rooth believes Cooper is causing problems because Rooth reported a failing septic issue on Cooper’s property to the health department.
– Bob Burkey, Lower Elkton Road, Columbiana, reported at 3:13 p.m. Monday he believed his 13-year-old grandson stole a Colt police special .38 caliber revolver from his gun cabinet over the weekend. Struthers police recovered the gun from his grandson’s room. He did not want to filed theft charges.

– An unresponsive 40-year-old man was reported at a home on Cherry Valley Road. Steve Binion had been found by his 9-year-old son. Leetonia EMS transported Binion and the boy’s mother from Youngstown asked deputies to have her son stay with the manager of the trailer park until she could arrive. The matter is under investigation.
– Janet Jury, Blacks Road, Lisbon, reported an assault at 11:29 a.m. Sunday. William Halligan told deputies his neighbor, Paul Welsh, came over to his home and assaulted him. Welsh told deputies he went to Halligan’s to talk to him about how loud his music was and he claimed it was Halligan who became aggressive toward him. Welsh said he did grab Halligan and push him away, but it was more in self defense. The matter was sent to the prosecutor’s office for review.
– After receiving a tip Marcus Gutierrez, 37, who has a warrant, was inside a Pine Hollow Road, Rogers, home, deputies went there at 8:51 p.m. Sunday. A woman living at the home, Christina M. Bias, 35, said she had not seen Gutierrez since January, then later changed the story that he was there earlier in the morning. Gutierrez was later found in a rear bedroom with the window open and taken into custody. Bias was charged with obstructing official business.
– Carmen Andric, Whinnery Road, Salem, reported at 1:22 a.m. Monday she has been receiving harassing calls and texts from Adam Milburn. They had dated, but she has been trying to break off the relationship for about a month. He uses an app to call from different numbers because she has blocked his. Someone also has been coming to her home, banging on the door and windows and calling her name. Deputies explained to Andric how to obtain a protection order and called Milburn, warning him against contacting her further.
– Deputies went to a home on state Route 644, Salineville, where it was requested someone should be removed at 4:14 a.m. Saturday. An intoxicated Joseph James Pahanish, 22, state Route 644, Salineville, was found bleeding from the head and told deputies to go ahead and take him. An ambulance was enroute. His sisters, Michelle and Monica Allison and their father, Michael Allison, stated Pahanish had been involved in a car accident and had been released by the highway patrol to his sister Michelle. On the way home, Pahanish allegedly talked of trying to kill himself and when he arrived home he went to his bedroom, grabbed an old shotgun and tried to kill himself. Michelle Allison reportedly went after him, grabbed the gun and they struggled for it with her eventually hitting him to get control of the gun. She then disabled it by snapping it in half. The gash on his head was from the struggle with his sister. The parents were awakened and began to argue near the top of the steps with Pahanish. Fearful her mother might fall down the steps, Monica Allison stepped in and Pahanish reportedly grabbed her in a choke-hold refusing to let go until their mother yelled at him. He was taken to a hospital and then to the county jail.
– A resident of Glasgow Road, Wellsville, reported barking dogs at 6:52 a.m. Saturday. Deputies attempted to find Larry Mellot, who did not come to the door. An overwhelming number of dogs in cages and on leads were visible, some in very small cages including two Chihuahuas in cages designed for hamsters or gerbils. The matter was forwarded to the dog warden’s office.
– Cindy Masters, Buck Road, Beloit, reported she wanted someone removed at 4:31 a.m. Sunday. Masters and her children claimed their rental neighbor, Gary Mikes, was intoxicated and went after her son and daughter. The son had been over at Mikes’ with friends, but Mikes began acting strange and cursed about his mother, so the son got confrontational with him. He claimed they squared up but did not fight. However, the daughter claimed Mikes chased her with a stick. Mikes gave a different story, claiming the son was over there because Masters had a man over and would not let him inside the house. He claimed the son got mad at him for trying to get Masters to let the son in. Mikes also claimed it was the daughter chasing him with the stick.
– Tracey Ardinger, Crestview Road, New Waterford, reported at 7:08 p.m. Sunday someone stole an English angora rabbit and the cage it was in off her porch.
– Amy Cooper, state Route 7, New Waterford, reported at 7:37 p.m. Sunday her neighbor was videotaping her child, although the neighbor was doing so from their own property.
– Karen Tilley, state Route 39, Wellsville, reported at 6:55 p.m. Sunday someone stole a Nigerian dwarf goat from her property. The goat is tri-colored – brown, white and black – has a pink collar and answers to the name Jolene. It has been missing since at least Sunday morning.

-Bev Cunningham, Bayard Road, Minerva, reported trespassers on her property at 8:47 p.m. Friday. Upon inspection, none were found.
-Amy Cooper, state Route 7, Negley, called at 7:47 p.m. Friday to report her neighbors having a property dispute. Her neighbor, Mike Meek, put in a marker without a property survey. Her 3 year old was playing in the yard and grabbed the marker. Meek yelled at her.
-Matthew Rhoads, Main Street, Homeworth, stated at 4:01 p.m. Friday that his Cub Cadet lawn mower was stolen from his garage. The last time he saw the mower was last mowing season. The garage was locked and there are no signs of forced entry. He saw the door open three weeks ago but thought a family member was inside.
-Ethel Stanford, state Route 170, Negley, called at 1:33 p.m. Friday to report a missing package. She ordered a drone which UPS supposedly delivered at the end of March. She called UPS and the driver said that a male subject picked it up. Standford said no one should have been at the house at that time because she was away. She said recently there have been subjects there picking up scrap metal but she didn’t know if they were there at that point in time. She said she needed a report on file since the package was stolen.
-Randy Garretson, Applegate Road, Lisbon, called at 1:41 p.m. Friday to report harassment by Michael Oats. Garretson was alerted Oats told his mother he was going to call an ambulance and the sheriff for Garretson. Garretson took this as a threat. Garretson said he hasn’t had contact with his mother or Oats in several months because he doesn’t want to be around them. He was told that if Oats comes to his residence to call authorities immediately.
-Gary Carter, Westville Lake Road, Beloit, discussed items that were stolen from his property at 11 a.m. Friday with a deputy. Several power tools were stolen from his barn and storage buildings.
– Deputies were told of a domestic dispute on Forest Street, Lisbon, at 4:37 a.m. Sunday. Shannon Wright explained he had argued with his son, who had left before deputies arrived and broke a mirror in his bedroom before he left.
– Deputies went to a home on state Route 154 following a hang-up call at 6:10 a.m. Sunday, speaking with Barbie Chapman and David Bradley. They said there was an argument and she wanted him to leave, but everything was fine at that point.
– Someone reported finding a bag containing drugs in the area of state Route 517 and Lower Elkton Road, where Elk Run Creek runs under the state route at 3:01 p.m. Saturday. The bag had hundreds of heroin stamps and hypodermic syringes. More of both were found all throughout the creek. Deputies and the person who found them picked up as many of the syringes as they could find.
– An ATV accident was reported on Hibbetts Mill Road at 7:27 p.m. Saturday. Michael Kazee, the property owner, and other witnesses told deputies Bryan Heffner was riding with Melissa James on the back of his 2012 Honda when the ATV started coasting backward on a hillside. It flipped over and landed on them. Both were transported to East Liverpool City Hospital. James later told deputies Heffner struck a rock on the hillside, which caused the ATV to overturn.
– Jennifer Meek-Eells, West Washington Street, Lisbon, reported at 8:24 p.m. Saturday she returned from the Rogers Sale and found her phone missing from her vehicle. She tracked the phone utilizing an app and determined it to be in the Warren area. She called her phone provider to have it shut off.
– A group of bikers were reported standing along Depot Road and one man was lying on the ground at 6:41 p.m. Saturday. Deputies spoke to the bikers, who said one of their bikes broke down and they were all just waiting on a tow truck. They also said they had permission from the homeowner to hang out in the front yard until the tow truck arrived.
– Diana Stonemetz, Mountz Road, Minerva, reported at 7:57 p.m. Saturday someone dumped a mattress and a carpet on her property.
– Noel Genet, U.S. Route 30, Minerva, reported at 5:08 p.m. Saturday her neighbor saw someone removing items from her home while she was at work. Deputies checked the home and found it locked.
– Gary Fieldhouse, state Route 558, New Waterford, reported at 8:41 a.m. Sunday he found two of his pigs running loose. The gate was open and he found shoe tracks in the mud inside the pen. A third pig, white and weighing around 100 pounds, was not found. The pig is valued at about $200.
– Kenny Parks, Miller Road, Leetonia, reported at 1:01 p.m. Sunday a neighbor is using his dumpster without permission. Parks talked to the neighbor and believed the problem has been resolved.
– Jean Salem, Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, reported at 2:33 p.m. Sunday she found a BB hole in the front spare bedroom window of her home. The hole must have happened sometime after she got new windows last October.
– Raymond Carver, Cherry Street, Homeworth, reported gunshots at 3:37 p.m. Sunday. Deputies checked the area several times, but did not find a source.
– Karen Tilley of Jim’s Tire, state Route 39, Wellsville, reported at 3:20 p.m. Sunday sometime overnight someone attempted to pry open the door of the business, but were unsuccessful.
– Deputies checked Foundry Hill area in Franklin Township at 2:45 p.m. Sunday, where someone was reporting shooting. Several people were found shooting on Gavers Road, but they were doing so in a safe manner.
– Dolores Guthrie, Trinity Church Road, Lisbon, reported at 12:40 p.m. Sunday someone dumped a dead calf on the end of her property.
-The security office of Lake Tomahawk reported a domestic dispute at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Kiersten Corbin of Tomahawk Drive reported she came home from work and her fiance, Taylor Stewart, grabbed her and threw her to the bed. She grabbed some clothes and swung them at Stewart, hitting him in the mouth with a clothes hanger. She then left and and he reportedly got into his truck, following her and yelling for her to get in. The security office was called at that point. Stewart confirmed they had argued and Corbin hit him in the mouth with a hanger, cutting his lip. He also punched a door and broke a computer keyboard. Corbin did not want to pursue charges, just get her belongings and leave. Stewart agreed he wanted her to go and not return.
– Teresa Ohlin, formerly of Heck Road, Columbiana, reported at 4:55 p.m. Sunday she has been receiving harassing test messages and phone calls from the woman having an affair with her husband. Ohlin stated she has now moved from the Heck Road address and is living in Mahoning County. She was told to file a report with Beaver Township police.

s- A door was reported open at the Lisbon Schools bus garage at 5:36 a.m. Friday. The garage was checked and everything appeared fine.
– Kathleen Vennum, Hazel Run Road, Salineville, reported someone trespassing at 9:18 p.m. Thursday. Louis Patrick Rivera of Ambridge, Pa., told deputies his 13-year-old pit bull got loose and ran away sometime in the afternoon. He and his friends began looking for it and John Vennum assisted them at that time. However, earlier, before he knew people were looking for it, Vennum said he has discharged a round from his gun to scare it away. Later in the evening several people using flashlights walked back onto the property checking for the dog again. At that point, not knowing what was happening, Fredd Woodburn discharged a round from his 40-caliber pistol. The property owners and those looking for the dog talked and Rivera was asked to stay off Vennum’s property.
– Chad Baumgarner, state Route 45, Lisbon, reported suspicious activity at 1:40 a.m. April 8. No one was found.
– John McKarns, state Route 518, Hanoverton, reported at 3:31 p.m. Thursday his ATV, a 2014 Yamaha 450 Grizzly, was stolen from his property sometime between 8 p.m. Wednesday and then.
– Pat Stuba, Middle Beaver Road, Lisbon, reported at 2:23 p.m. Thursday someone entered the garage and took several gas operated power tools sometime during the last 48 hours.
– Barb George from Elder Ag and Turf, state Route 14, East Palestine, reported at 2:17 p.m. Monday a man using the name Jamal Williams came to the store on March 31, purchased a Stihl BR 600 blower for $536 and paid with a check from Strike First Paint Ball Extreme in Murrysville, Pa. The check was returned by the bank as written on a frozen or blocked account. On Wednesday George told deputies she was called by a detective in Pennsylvania, who also is investigating the man.

– Elsie Wolfgang, Lower Elkton Road, Lisbon, reported at 9:43 a.m. Wednesday her dogs were carrying on at about 3 a.m. and in the morning she found someone had taken her hand pump and a 55-gallon drum in her barn. Items on top of a 55-gallon diesel fuel tank had also been moved and someone had removed a considerable amount of diesel fuel from the tank. She reported similar thefts happened last summer on her farm.
– Teresa Santee, U.S. Route 62, Salem, reported at 3:46 p.m. Wednesday her neighbor’s cows were loose and damaging her property along with a neighbor’s property. Deputies spoke to four property owners, who all said they have yard damage from the cattle, which continually escape Greg Courtney’s property on Salem-Alliance Road. Deputies took photos of the damages and charges are pending against Courtney, who has been warned at least twice in the past about his cattle running loose.
– At 6:04 p.m. Wednesday, Christina Zmuda, Ohio Home Care, asked deputies to check on a 15-year-old boy on Leslie Road, who was just released from United Presbyterian Medical Center. Deputies found the teen to be playing X-box with his older brother. Deputies had the mother contact Zmuda.
– Tonya Sevek, Clarks Mill Road, Salineville, reported a burglary at 7:02 p.m. Wednesday. The basement window was broken out, but she did not find anything missing.
– A possible domestic dispute was reported at 11:59 p.m. Wednesday at the home of Travis Weese, Walnut Street, Rogers. Deputies learned Weese had a knife on his ankle. He admitted to it and the tactical knife was found inside a sheath inside his left boot. He was charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

– Shannon Knoblock, Autumn Road, Wellsville, reported at 4:25 a.m. Wednesday she was assaulted by Aaron Francis. He was taken into custody and charged with domestic violence and resisting arrest.
– Timothy Johnson, Rollercoaster Road, Lisbon, reported at 11:11 p.m. Tuesday he argued with his wife and she locked him out of the house. There was no physical violence or threats.
– Darlene Ingledue, Summit Street, Salem, reported at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday she and her 16-year-old niece argued. Deputies explained to the girl, her aunt has custody and she must listen to her.
– Heather Rice, Hammondsville Road, Wellsville, reported at 6:03 p.m. Tuesday Anthony Crumpton was making threats, contacting her from a friend’s phone. However, Rice would not provide deputies with the phone number so they could contact him about the matter.

– Deputies checked a home on Y and O Road, East Liverpool, after a possible domestic was reported at 9:51 a.m. Sunday, but found no one at home.
– At the request of the Mahoning County sheriff’s office and Boardman police, deputies went to a Tomahawk Drive, Negley, home at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, but were unable to find Brittany DeMarco or anyone else at the house.
– James Hupp, Taylor Road, Negley, reported at 10:57 a.m. Sunday while his children were getting ready for church, his 12-year-old son threw a dog bone striking the 6-year-old son. Deputies explained how to file unruly charges in juvenile court. The 12-year-old told deputies he threw the bone because his brother would not leave him alone. The smaller child had a red mark on his face.
– Benton Cope of Threshold Residential Home, Macklin Road, New Waterford, reported at 2:03 p.m. Sunday she found the door of the detached garage kicked in. She did not find anything missing.
– Ada Zimmerman, Depot Road, Salem, reported at 4:55 p.m. Saturday there were marks on her rental property door on state Route 517, Lisbon, where it appeared someone tried to break in. It did not appear anyone made entry.
– Dennis Ward, Carlisle Road, Lisbon, reported at 4:12 p.m. Saturday when he came home from work he found someone smashed his mailbox sometime overnight.
– Deputies went with Wellsville police at 6:12 p.m. Sunday to a home on Main Street looking for Karen A. Dicenzi, 21, who had a warrant. Dicenzi’s mother, Margaret L. Rosnagel, 56, told deputies Dicenzi left just prior to their arrival, but Deputy Luke Skidmore saw Dicenzi and Koty A. Claypool, 22, attempting to leave out the front door. Both were found to have warrants and were taken into custody. Rosnagel was also taken into custody and charged with obstruction.
– Dean Moore, Buffalo Road, Kensington, reported at 8:50 p.m. Sunday he came home and took his pants off, hanging them up in his closet. Some people came over and when the left, he noticed his wallet was missing.
– Richard Springer, Opal Drive, Wellsville, reported at 8:19 p.m. Sunday someone shot his 2003 Chevy S-10 pickup while he was driving on Crawford Road around noon on Saturday. He heard something hit his truck and thought it was a rock at the time. Later he noticed a bullet hole.

– Steve Wilson, Y & O Road, Madison Township, reported hearing gunshots at 10:12 p.m. Saturday. Police checked the area but did not hear anyone shooting.
– Robin Caruso, South Bandy Road, Alliance, reported hearing a suspicious noise at 1:40 a.m. Saturday. A deputy arrived and checked the garage but found nothing out of the ordinary.
– Kristin Seevers, state Route 154, Lisbon, reported Saturday her father constantly texts and calls without cease. A deputy contacted the father, who was not very talkative and then made a disparaging comment about his daughter before hanging up.

-Travis Maclean, Oak Ridge Road, Wellsville, called at 2:48 p.m. Friday to report that he was driving on Old Ironside Road and found 22 tires that were illegally dumped. While driving on Hibbits Mill Road, he noticed another large pile of tires. He cleaned the tires from the road.
-Tim Buckel, state Route 62, Minerva, reported a stolen vehicle at 4:33 p.m. Friday. Someone stole his tan 2003 Chevy S-10 from Western Reserve Industries Thursday night.
-Robert Boggs, Depot Road, Salem, called at 5:16 p.m. Friday to report that his eight-year-old daughter has been getting messages from someone claiming to be him. He called the male back and believes that he contacted the wrong number, but he wants a report on file.

– Chelsea Lower, Rose Drive, Lisbon, reported at 11:02 p.m. Thursday, Tyler Joy, who has been staying with her, is on probation and is court ordered to attend Family Recovery meetings weekly. She loaned him her vehicle to go on Thursday at about 5:30 p.m. and he said he would be back no later than 8:30 p.m., but failed to show. Deputies called Joy and left him a message to return the vehicle. At 7 a.m. Friday Lower reported her vehicle had been returned. She did not want to pursue charges.
– Cora Burdess, Cannons Mill Road, East Liverpool, reported at 1:27 p.m. Thursday her neighbor’s cats are messing up her flower beds.
– Tammy Noday, Echo Dell Road, Rogers, reported an assault of her son at 10:29 p.m. Thursday. Her 17-year-old son told deputies he received calls from someone wanting him to come meet in different places but he refused. So the 18-year-old showed up to his house with three others. The 18-year-old leg swept him, got onto his chest and punched him in the face multiple times before his 14-year-old brother came out and defended him. The matter is under investigation.
– Tonda Bratt, no address listed, reported someone was taking gutters from a foreclosed home on Steubenville Pike, Hammondsville. Deputies spoke to Jamie Harris, who said he was cleaning up around the home for the owner and had permission to be there. Deputies spoke to the owner, who also said Harris has permission to be there. The foreclosure has not been filed, but Harris was told he will not be able to be there once it is filed.
-Ron Rager, site manager of the Penn Ohio Landfill, North Street, Negley, reported at 2:05 p.m. Wednesday he saw a man on top of the hill target shooting with a rifle. Rager confronted him and the man left walking southbound toward Negley. No new damage was found to the property. Deputies found the person, Zachary Kiehl, 19, working on an ATV at Bulldog Motorsports. He admitted he had been there target shooting. He was warned not to return to the property.

– Oren Smith, Grafton Road, Leetonia, reported at 5:36 a.m. April 1 that when he went outside to leave for work, he found his shed door open and his riding lawnmower gone. He last saw his mower a week earlier.
– Deputies went to a Brookfield Avenue, Lisbon, home where a woman had called KLG at 12:28 a.m. Thursday because her son had ingested something and caused his blood sugar to rise to 550. She thought he might have been drinking, but could not smell anything. The son was very talkative and his eyes were dilated. He was transported by KLG.
– Wendy Scott, U.S. Route 62, Salem, reported at 2:08 p.m. Tuesday her daughter, Rachelle George, stays with her off and on and when she went to wake George she became agitated. She began arguing with her, throwing things around, then pushed past her and left the house. She did not want to have George charged with anything, but wanted to know how to have her evicted.
– A domestic dispute was reported on Richardson Avenue, Negley, at 9:35 p.m. Wednesday. Amber McKabb told deputies she came home from work and found her live-in boyfriend, Thomas Randall Hughes II, passed out drunk. She confronted him about his drinking habits and he reportedly became aggressive toward her. Both her injuries and damage to the house were photographed.

– Jen Wendell, Carter Road, New Waterford, reported at 8:36 p.m. Tuesday she came home and found the back door window had been smashed out and her living room TV missing along with her black iPad 2 with a blue and black case.
– Charlene Sias, Elkton Road, Lisbon, reported at 9:43 p.m. Tuesday Jason Fitzsimmons accused her of stealing his keys. When she told him she did not have them, he reportedly began threatening her. Deputies told both of them to stop contacting each other.
– A semi truck driven by Mohamed M. Ben Abdelkader of Chicago turned around in a yard on state Route 170 north of Carbon Hill Road at 3:41 p.m. Monday. The driver told deputies he saw the detour sign in Negley and thought it said the road was closed in 22 miles. The sign says 2.2 miles and as he approached the closure he decided to turn around in the open area of a yard, making large ruts. He offered to pay $100 to the property owner, Ray Gollan, to repair the damages and is to send the check within three days.

– Sarah Diequez, Rosedale Avenue, Wellsville, reported at 4:40 a.m. Saturday someone was driving an SUV up and down the road repeatedly. Deputies did not find the vehicle.
– Kassidy Arkwright, Kelly Park Road, Leetonia, reported at 4:23 p.m. Sunday her boyfriend threatened to drive the car off the road at the intersection of Y and O Road on Saturday. She said he turned at the last minute. She also claimed he has threatened to shoot her if she cheated on him, threatened to kill himself and three months ago he punched a hole in a wall. She was planning to get a protection order.

– Mike Breltich, Bye Road, Negley, reported at 7:12 p.m. Saturday his red truck was stolen, but he had located it and was sitting in it on Laura Avenue in East Liverpool. Dispatchers lost the connection. Deputies checked the area, but were unable to find the red truck. When he called back on 911, dispatchers pinged Breltich’s phone and found it was located at his home on Bye Road near East Palestine. Deputies checked on Breltich there and found him sitting in the bed of his truck, which was disabled in his driveway, confused and disoriented. He was transported to East Liverpool City Hospital for evaluation.
– Levi Shields, Green Lane, East Liverpool, reported at 3:07 p.m. Sunday his vehicle was stolen and it was at a home on 16 School Road. Deputies found a 1999 Mercury Cougar which had been reported stolen. Deputies called the East Liverpool Police Department and Captain Patrick Wright told deputies to leave the vehicle where it was and have the current owner, Jerry Cunningham, contact the police department at noon Monday. Cunningham has the original title, which shows Shield sold the vehicle to Tyler Savin on Jan. 11. On Feb. 24, Savin sold the vehicle to Cunningham. Now Shields has reported the vehicle stolen.
– Deputies attempted to serve a warrant at a home on Ganders Flat, Lisbon, at 9:24 p.m. Sunday. The house was open and everything appeared normal, but no one was there.
– Nancy Wallack, Saltwell Road, Lisbon, reported vandalism at 11:28 p.m. Saturday. Deputies found a long rut in Wallack’s yard from someone driving from Saltwell Road to the parking lot of Dunkin Donuts. However, they also struck her mailbox and railroad ties along her property.

Tim Greenawalt, Hartley Road, Lisbon, reported at 10:13 p.m. Saturday his ex-girlfriend kept trying to get back with him, and was coming to his house. He did not wish to file charges.

-At 5:20 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to a report of a juvenile in West Township that took pills and ran from his mother’s vehicle into the woods near Hoopes Fertilizer. Minerva police, Minerva Fire Department and Hanover Township Fire Department were all searching for the teen. He was found in a barn along state Route 30 where an abandoned house is located. He dumped gas on himself and began drinking gas when found. Minerva ambulance transported him to Mercy Hospital.
-At 8:15 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to a call on state Route 45 in Salem about a rider that fell off a horse. Amanda Weber, Endley Road, was treated on scene and taken to the hospital for injuries she sustained from the accident.
-Greg Bardon, Taylor Road, Rogers, called at 1:37 p.m. to report trespassing. He noticed a white car and garbage on his property while walking his dog at 11 p.m. the night before. He believes juveniles are parking by his gate and being a nuisance.
-Jennifer Anderson, Bacon Avenue, East Palestine, called at 3:38 p.m. Friday to report that there was a man claiming he was a subcontractor for AT&T taking photos of an old telephone pole. Anderson said she called AT&T and they said they would let her know whether or not the man worked for them on Saturday. She was advised to call the Sheriff’s office again if the man shows back up.
-Dee Stanley, Westville Lake Road, Beloit, called to report an accident on her property at 1:25 p.m. Friday. Troy Kinser was backing out of his store, Mac Trailer Co. when he struck a vehicle being driven by Ron Teague, Knox School Road, Alliance. Teague was preparing to pull onto Westville Lake Road when he was struck by Kinser, who was backing out west.
-A welfare check was performed at 7:49 a.m. Saturday for a woman on Chestnut Street in Leetonia.

– Someone passing by reported at 4:17 a.m. Wednesday he crested a hill on Metz Road and saw two horses standing in the middle of the road. One of the horses came to him while he was speaking to dispatch. He went to a home just east of the field, but could not raise anyone. The horses went south in the open field and he lost sight of them. Deputies spotlighted the field from the intersection south on Lower Elkton and east on Metz, but did not find the horses.
– Ken Tetemanza, state Route 14, East Palestine, reported a company named Ecoplanetenergy contacted him after he posted a resume online. The company hired him to do part-time online research. He completed a few projects they gave him and opened a bank account with BankAmercca. They were to deposit money into the account and he was to transfer the money to others in the company. Someone deposited $4,999 into the account, had him purchase two moneygrams with the money and send them to two addresses in China. He then found out it was a scam. He also had set up another account for them to deposit his pay, but no money was ever deposited. The accounts were not connected to any of his other financial accounts.
