-- Police were called at 3:15 a.m. Tuesday to the KSU City Center in the 200 block of North Lincoln Avenue for a suspicious white van in the parking lot for an extended period of time. Officers made contact with the occupant who said she was a student and due to possible bad weather, she decided to come early and sleep in the parking lot so she didn't miss school.
-- Trevor Lodge, 25, of 345 Boston St., Washingtonville, was taken into custody in the 700 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 8:02 p.m. Monday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of criminal damaging. He was turned over to a Columbiana County sheriff's deputy and taken to jail.
--An officer on patrol at 7:35 p.m. Monday made contact with a driver and passengers who weren't legal drivers in the 700 block of East Fifth Street. K-9 Simon indicated to the presence of a narcotic odor and several items of contraband were located in the vehicle. The 16-year-old female driver was cited for traffic violations and released to her mother with an additional delinquency charge. Two adults were released with no charges. A second juvenile in custody was taken to the station with a third juvenile not in custody to be picked up by a parent. The vehicle was removed and it was unknown at the time if it was stolen. None of the occupants had valid driver's licenses.
-- A woman reported at 5:59 p.m. Monday that she entered a verbal agreement with a female acquaintance who allowed her to put some of her belongings temporarilty in her storage unit on North Howard Avenue and gave her a key for it. She said she bought a new lock and gave the new key to the acquaintance. Now she went back and found the lock changed yet again on the storage unit and can't get her belongings. She was told it's a civil issue and she may want to contact the storage unit owner.
-- A woman in the 1400 block of East State Street reported at 5:40 p.m. Monday that a juvenile staying at the group home urinated in a water bottle of another juvenile. She didn't want to file charges, but wanted the incident documented.
-- Drug paraphernalia was reported at 4:29 p.m. Monday in the area of Mullins Street and the railroad crossing. Police recovered the item for destruction.
-- A domestic was reported at 4:07 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of North Ellsworth Avenue. The incident was verbal only.
-- The Leetonia school resource officer advised at 1:11 p.m. Monday that a possible domestic took place in the 400 block of South Lincoln Avenue earlier in the morning. The names of the parties involved in the dispute were provided. Officers tried to make contact, but were unsuccessful. Officers will follow-up.
-- An irate person was reported at 11:48 a.m. Monday on Legacy Lane at a business where employees advised a customer was upset about a service issue involving his vehicle. The customer left before police arrived. The business wanted it documented.
-- A woman in the 300 block of South Ellsworth Avenue reported at 11:46 a.m. Monday that she's being harassed by a female she knows. She said the other female has a no contact order against her and she feels she's violating that order by means of social media.
-- A woman in the 2900 block of East State Street reported at 10:58 a.m. Monday that another driver tried to run her off the road and was yelling profanities at her. Officers made contact with the other person who said she almost hit him in the 2000 block of East State Street and he did not yell at her. Both parties were told to stay away from each other.
-- Police were asked to check the well-being of a juvenile in the 100 block of Washington Avenue at 9:51 a.m. Monday. Officers spoke to a neighbor who reported seeing the father and juvenile the prior night. Officers asked the school resource officer to check the school and he confirmed the juvenile was at school for the day.
-- A man in the 700 block of South Lundy Avenue reported at 9:38 a.m. Monday that he was a victim of identity theft and that someone opened up a Paypal account and made charges on it without his knowledge or permission. He was told his options.
LEETONIA
-- An officer responded to 400 block of Pearl Street at 7:57 p.m. Dec. 11 where a woman reported finding the door to her sister's home had been damaged by an apparent forced entry. She said she was there to gather some belongings for her sister and that only a cousin was permitted in the home. She said her sister's ex-boyfriend may have caused the damage. The officer searched the home and found no one inside.
-- An officer assisted the highway patrol on a motor vehicle crash on state Route 344 at the state Route 11 overpass at 5:53 p.m. Dec. 13, providing traffic control until EMS could evaluate the victims and a trooper arrived.
-- An officer responded to a 300 block Washington Street home at 2:22 p.m. Sunday in reference to domestic dispute in which the resident reported her adult son had become upset while helping prepare dinner and left before the officer arrived. The son returned and admitted to losing his temper and said he would go to his sister's house for a while.
-- An officer responded to the East High Street area at 5:40 p.m. Monday in reference to a female walking east. The officer found her sitting on the steps of the group home without shoes or a jacket. She said she was looking for her sister after being struck by a male. She was provided a ride to her sister's and advised to provide a statement regarding the incident if she wanted to press charges.
-- An officer responded to Oakdale Cemetery at 11:58 p.m. Monday in reference to a vehicle parked at the rear of the cemetery. The officer found two occupants in the backseat and advised them to leave.

-- A woman reported a crash in the Sparkle parking lot on Village Plaza at 4:22 p.m. Monday.
Lisbon
-- A clerk at Smith Oil reported a man drove off at 7:08 p.m. Friday without paying for $20 in gas. Police called the the wife on Monday and she had her husband go back and pay the debt.
