-- Lynsee Ahearn, 26, of 515 W. Eighth St., was charged with disorderly conduct and taken to the county jail after police were called at 12:20 a.m. Tuesday to the 300 block of Vine Avenue for a well-being check. An unknown female was reported sitting in a parking lot. Officers spoke to the female, identified later as Ahearn, who admitted she was highly and voluntarily intoxicated. She was given several chances to call for a ride or give officers a phone number to call for her but she refused.
-- A dispute with a mother and daughter was reported at 11:39 p.m. Monday at the apartments in the 2500 block of Lexington Avenue. The mother took the juvenile's phone after she refused to go to bed. Both said it was verbal.
-- Tina Williams, 61, of 7632 Rose Drive, Lisbon, was charged with theft and taken to the county jail after police were called to Walmart on East State Street at 5:21 p.m. Monday for a shoplifting incident. A loss prevention specialist reported a female was seen placing a bag of candy in her purse and a pair of shoes in her shopping cart and then leaving without paying. When officers spoke to the female, identified as Williams, she allegedly admitted to stealing the items.
-- Police responded at 5:03 p.m. Monday to the 200 block of Rose Avenue where someone struck a pole and fence causing property damage and failed to report the incident. An investigation is pending.
-- A domestic dispute was reported at 3:47 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of West Wilson Street. Police learned it was a verbal altercation only, with no injuries. Both parties went their separate ways.
-- An officer on patrol at 3:29 p.m. Monday on Westview Avenue was flagged down by a man who reported finding a small purse. The officer attempted contact with the owner, but was unable to reach anyone. The purse was placed in lost and found.
-- Nathan Courtney, 32, of 252 Park Ave., was charged with domestic violence and taken to the county jail after police were called at 12:59 p.m. Monday to an address in the 200 block of Park for a domestic dispute. Police placed Courtney in custody after speaking to all persons involved.
-- Police are investigating a reported assault with a knife in the 600 block of East Third Street at 9:31 a.m. Monday. Officers located the victim on the front porch with an apparent knife wound to his left hand. Fire department first responders and KLG ambulance arrived and he was transported to Salem Regional Medical Center. Charges may be pending, an officer said.

-- A woman reported that her ex-roommate stole various items from her East Salem Street residence at 4:42 p.m. Sunday.
-- Family Dollar reported that sometime overnight, someone moved the ice freezer in front of the store away from the wall at 9 a.m. Sunday.
