Perry Township Police Chief Mike Emigh issued no citation after 31-year-old Janelle Shaw of Salem lost control on black ice on Egypt Road just south of Painter Road Wednesday morning, striking a cement barrier which caused her Jeep Liberty, pictured here, to flip on its side and come to rest against the barrier. She was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman by private vehicle and the Jeep was towed from the scene of the crash, which was reported at 7:21 a.m. (Photo provided by Chief Mike Emigh)
