-- Police were called at 10:31 p.m. Thursday to the 700 block of Liberty Street for a well-being check after a caller reported seeing a person slumped over behind the wheel of a silver car. Police found the car unoccupied and could not find anyone.
-- An open door was reported at 9:21 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of West State Street. Police checking the interior of the building, but found no one inside.
-- An alarm was reported at 9:19 p.m. Thursday in the 2200 block of East Pershing Street. The exterior was found secure.
-- A suspicious male was reported at 7:22 p.m. Thursday in the 500 block of East Second Street, but was not found.
-- A well-being check was requested in the 1800 block of Pearce Circle at 6:34 p.m. Thursday by a caller who wasn't able to make contact with a relative. Police made contact with the person and determined everything was ok.
-- Police responded at 6:20 p.m. Thursday to the intersection of East Pershing and Southeast Boulevard for a male standing in the road directing traffic. The traffic signal was not working due to a power outage. He was asked to leave the road and road flares were placed on the road for traffic safety until power was restored.
-- Police were called at 4:23 p.m. Thursday for a parking complaint in the 700 block of East Fourth Street where a resident said vehicles waiting for the food pantry were blocking their driveway. Officers saw that the owner had placed cones in front of the driveway and it was no longer blocked.
-- A resident in the 1600 block of Ridgewood reported a case of identity fraud at 2:11 p.m. Thursday, saying that someone opened up fraudulent accounts using her information.
-- Jawna Stokes, 39, of North Lima, was cited for assured clear distance ahead after her southbound vehicle on North Lincoln Avenue struck the rear of another southbound vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Salem girl who was stopped to make a left turn into a private drive at 12:24 p.m. Thursday.
-- A caller at 12:05 p.m. Thursday reported a white box truck struck the crossing arm of the railroad gate at West Pershing Street and knocked it on the ground. The vehicle was not found. Norfolk Southern was called to make repairs.
