HIGHWAY PATROL
— Duana Stutzman, 64, of Dundee, struck a deceased deer on state Route 45 in Madison Township at 6:44 a.m. Thursday.
— Charles W. Bandy, 76, of Winona, was driving on Yates Road in Salem Township at 3:38 p.m. Saturday when the skid-steer secured onto the trailer attached to his vehicle fell off onto the road. Bandy was cited with failure to secure loads.
— Clifford D. Perry, 48, of Wellsville, lost control of his vehicle while trying to avoid a deer on state Route 164 in Washington Township at 10:50 a.m. Thursday. Perry’s vehicle went off the road and struck an embankment before overturning. Perry did not sustain any injuries.
— Paul L. Smith, 81, of Hanoverton, drove off of the left side of the road and struck a guardrail on U.S. 30 in Hanover Township at 3:22 p.m. Jan. 19. Smith said he believes he passed out and that’s why he lost control of his vehicle. Smith was cited with failure to control.
— A vehicle driven by Nichole Vanstrein, 31, West Bloomfield, Mich., was struck by a vehicle driven by Colleen D. Dicksinson, 49, of Salem, after Vanstrein failed to yield to oncoming traffic on state Route 45 in Center Township at 3:32 p.m. Jan. 14. No injuries were sustained by either party. Vanstrein was cited with failure to yield.
