-- Police were called at 11:30 a.m. Monday to the 900 block of East Fifth Street for a well-being check after Children Services was unable to make contact with someone. Police learned there was a phone issue.
-- Police learned a domestic dispute reported at 11:16 a.m. Monday in the 2200 block of Southeast Boulevard was just a misunderstanding.
-- A woman in the 200 block of Vine reported at 3:49 a.m. Monday that she was locked out of her residence and alleged her son threatened to kill her. She gained entry and the person inside voluntarily agreed to being taken to the hospital.
-- Officers responded at 2:20 a.m. Monday to the 2200 block of Southeast Boulevard for a verbal dispute after being at the same residence earlier and telling the people to stay separated for the evening. While officers were there, the female hid the male's wallet and allegedly was not truthful with officers about the wallet's whereabouts. The wallet was eventually found and the female was told she'll face charges for the incident. She was released to her son for the evening.
-- A domestic was reported at 1:40 a.m. Monday in the 2200 block of Southeast Boulevard where a woman who was found in her vehicle in the driveway told officers her boyfriend/fiance took her phone during an argument and wasn't giving it back. He told police the phone is his, that he bought it and is making payments on it. No physical violence occurred. They were told it's a civil issue.
-- Suspicious activity was reported at 1:35 a.m. Monday in the 2200 block of Pearce Street where a woman said an unknown person called and said they were watching her. Nothing suspicious was found when police checked the area. She was told to call back if there are more suspicious calls.
-- A juvenile problem was reported at 10:56 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of East Sixth Street and turned over to the juvenile officer.
-- An officer at 10:22 p.m. Sunday noticed an open trunk on a vehicle on Park Drive off of State Street and secured it.
-- Police were at the scene of an accident on Southeast Boulevard at Fairview at 9:55 p.m. Sunday when flagged down by a pedestrian for a medical emergency in the 1300 block of Carole Drive. Fire department first responders and KLG arrived after an officer started CPR and continued treatment, taking a male to Salem Regional Medical Center. No citation was issued for the accident which occurred when a driver swerved to miss another vehicle in his lane and struck a light pole.
-- Police responded at 6:34 p.m. Sunday to South Lundy and Aetna Street for a person allegedly chasing others with a stun gun. Officers heard conflicting stories upon arrival and parties involved agreed to separate.
-- Officers at 6:12 p.m. Sunday found an illegally parked vehicle in the 600 block of East State Street and contacted the owner to move it.
-- A caller at 6:04 p.m. Sunday reported a suspicious male approaching multiple people in the 100 block of South Ellsworth Avenue asking for money. No one was found.
-- A noise complaint was reported at 5:24 p.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of Southeast Boulevard, coming from the back of the building from the central air. Attempts were made to contact the owner regarding the malfunctioning unit.
-- An animal complaint was reported at 4:59 p.m. Sunday near Reilly, but the people involved were leaving when police arrived.
-- Fire department personnel had a person put out a fire after being called at 4:40 p.m. Sunday for a burning complaint in the 1000 block of Cleveland Street.
-- A resident in the 300 block of East Sixth Street reported at 3:16 p.m. Sunday that someone took his vehicle without permission and then gave the vehicle to someone else to use. While there, officers were told about a medical emergency involving a female. Fire department first responders and an ambulance were called and she was taken to a hospital.
-- Police were called at 12:52 p.m. Sunday to the 1500 block of Southeast Boulevard where a dog owner said the dog bit him on Saturday night and he was trying to get in touch with the humane society. Police called the city humane agent who said the dog would be retrieved for the time being.
-- A woman on Continental Drive at 10:35 a.m. Sunday said she had concerns about an unknown person possibly driving her vehicle. She was told her options.
-- A well-being check was requested at 8:05 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Vine where a woman said her son was having issues, but had already left. He could not be found.
