— A family member was cleaning a deceased family member’s residence sometime before 10:38 a.m. Friday in the 300 block of West Fourth Street, when she discovered several electronic smoking devices and an a substance, all of which police disposed of.
— A caller reported at 12:48 p.m. Friday that while she was in line buying a drink at a gas station in the 2800 block of East State Street, someone reached into her vehicle and sprayed an unknown substance. The incident is still under investigation.
— Police responded at 1:51 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of South Lundy Avenue to look for a possible lost juvenile.
— Arrow Disposal verified at 3:55 p.m. Friday in the 1000 block of Homewood Avenue that one of their trucks hit a low hanging cable line.
— Officers responded at 6 p.m. Friday in the 2400 block of Southeast Boulevard to a suspicious person who resembled a jail inmate. He advised that he had been in custody of Columbiana County Jail and dropped off at the Salem Regional Medical Center for treatment. The officer provided him with a courtesy transport to his destination, after verifying the story.
— A verbal warning was issued for a moving violation at 7:17 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of Benton Road. K9 Argo indicated on an open air sniff of the vehicle, and the offending contraband was confiscated and will be disposed of by police.
— Another driver received verbal warnings for possible narcotics and multiple traffic offenses at 8:53 p.m. Saturday in the area of Bentley Road and Roosevelt Avenue.
— An officer responded at 10:33 p.m. Friday to the 700 block of East Third Street in reference to a mental issue who was outside the caller’s home yelling.
— Tony A . Dillinger, 40, of Fair Avenue was served at 10:31 p.m. Friday in the Walmart parking lot with a failure to appear wwarrant.
— Owners of disabled vehicles were assisted shortly after midnight Saturday in the 600 block of Broadway Avenue and 1:47 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of South Lincoln Avenue.
— An utility trailer was reported stolen at 12:42 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of North Ellsworth Avenue.
— A package delivered by Amazon was reportedly stolen at 1:57 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of North Lincoln Avenue.
— Police opened an investigation into th report of an unresponsive male at 2:27 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Washington Avenue. He was found to be deceased and transported to a local funeral home.
— Oscar Junior Rivera Juarbe, of Youngstown was cited at 2:57 p.m. Saturday for failing to yield the right of way when turning left in the 1800 block of East State Street, after a two vehicle crash with minor injuries.
— Officers responded shortly after midnight Sunday to the area of Southeast Boulevard and Madison Avenue for a loud music complaint.
— Police investigated a complaint for several juveniles vandalizing Walmart at 5:38 p.m. Saturday.
