LISBON -- Tyler P. Faulkiner, 19, Quaker Church Road, East Rochester, was sentenced in Common Pleas Court to 120 days in the county jail for failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer and obstructing official business. Faulkiner fled from the highway patrol and Minerva police at speeds more than 100 mph until his vehicle wrecked about six miles from the intersection of Gavers Road and state Route 518. Faulkiner then fled on foot until he was taken into custody after stopped in the field by K-9 Hunter of the county sheriff's office. His license has been suspended for five years.
Codey A. Mobley, 36, Chester Avenue, Wellsville, stipulated to violating the terms of his community control from a domestic violence conviction. He was sentenced to nine months in prison with credit for 124 days served and his community control now has been dishonorably terminated. The charge was from January 2015, when Mobley shoved his mother and tackled his brother during an argument, leaving his brother with an injured foot.
Summer N. Bailey, 39, Darlington, Pa., was placed on two years community control for permitting drug abuse, a charge she pleaded no contest to in September. The charge was for allowing the trafficking of drugs on her property on Nov. 1, 2017.
Sheldon K. Ludt, 24, Continental Drive, Salem, was placed on three years community control for receiving stolen property. On Dec. 1, 2019, Ludt had a SMI One Visa debit card belonging to Trisha K. Adams.
Jacob W. Snyder, 31, Fifth Street, Beloit, stipulated to violating the terms of his community control for financial reasons. His community control, which he was placed on for theft and trafficking in drugs, was dishonorably terminated. The charges were both from 2015 when Snyder reportedly had methamphetamines and stole $2,602 from the Guilford Dairy Bar while employed there.
Robert L.J. Zuch, 34, state Route 170, Negley, was placed on three years community control for aggravated possession of drugs for having methamphetamines on Oct. 2, 2019.
Aaron C. Walter, 23, South Street, Alliance, pleaded guilty to domestic violence, a first-degree misdemeanor and lesser included offense to the felony domestic violence he was initially charged with for slapping Brittany Lynn Kirk, the mother of his unborn child, in the face and spitting on her, as well as making multiple threats against her on May 12, 2020. Walter requested immediate sentencing and Walter was placed on three years community control.
Walter W. Short, 38, Wells Hollow Road, Wellsville, was placed on three years community control for tampering with evidence, with a term of up to six months at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center in Wintersville. On Oct. 22, 2019, Short had tried to conceal drug evidence from authorities by dumping the contents of a container into his mouth and then throwing the container outside the window during a traffic stop.
James R. Cox, 36, College Street, East Liverpool, stipulated to violating the terms of his community control for failure to appear on recognizance bond. Cox was sentenced to eight months in prison and his community control was dishonorable terminated. Cox had failed to appear for a case on Aug. 4, 2010.
