LISBON -- A March 8 preliminary hearing was set in county Municipal Court for Ryan W. Virden, 32, Jennings Avenue, Salem, charged with having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony, for allegedly having a nine-millimeter semi-automatic pistol in his bedrooms when the county drug task force searched his home Thursday. Virden reportedly has multiple felony convictions including ones involving drugs and weapons.

Chad M. Collins, 35, last known address McCracken Road, Salem, signed a waiver of extradition so he can be returned to Hampton Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania where he is facing a warrant for a charge of harassment and terroristic threats. He was reportedly found at an address on Salem Parkway, Salem, on Wednesday.

Michael E. Lamp, 42, Sixth Avenue, East Liverpool, signed a waiver of extradition so he can be returned to West Virginia where he is facing a warrant for a charge of delivery of methamphetamine. Lamp was currently in custody at the county jail.

An April 15 pretrial was set for Michael A. Catalano, 28, Irish Ridge Road, East Liverpool, charged with OVI first offense and failure to control.

A March 8 pretrial was set for John R. Wolfe Jr., 38, state Route 172, East Rochester, charged with domestic violence for allegedly threatening to kill Nicole Russell by choking the life out of her and making their child motherless on Tuesday.

A March 9 pretrial was set for Kevin S. Young, 46, Kelly Park Road, Leetonia, charged with domestic violence for allegedly slamming Natalie Noel on the bed and holding her down by her wrists on Feb. 25.

Augustina M. Newman, 47, 10th Street extension, Wellsville, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for striking Daniel Wallace in the face last June.

Ronald W. Ponsart, 61, West Fourth Street, Salem, was fined $800 for driving under suspension and a red light violation.

Annalise M. Melton-Kinder, 33, Rootstown, was fined $200 for possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.

Keith D. Carlisle Jr., 57, East Perry Street, Salem, was fined $200 for driving under suspension.
