LISBON — An April 29 preliminary hearing was set in county Municipal Court for Steven W. Watters II, 43, Elk Avenue, Lisbon, charged with receiving stolen property for allegedly driving a vehicle with a stolen license plate on Aug. 8.

A June 15 pretrial was set for Keith O. Savage, 34, North Jefferson Street, Lisbon, charged with OVI second offense, no temporary permit and left of center.

Trey Shields, 21, Lincoln Street, East Liverpool, was fined $1,175, had his license suspended for 180 days, credited with a day in jail, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 40 hours community service for OVI first offense, failure to stop after an accident, failure to control and possession of marijuana.

Roger J. Fitzsimmons, 49, Edgewood Drive, Salem, was fined $925, had his license suspended for a year, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 40 hours community service for OVI first offense and a traffic control device violation.

A June 7 pretrial was set for Fredrick E. Lash Jr., 27, Canton, cited with OVI first offense and driving under FRA suspension.

David C. Cole, 36, East Eighth Street, East Liverpool, was credited with four days served, sentenced to an additional 26 days in jail and fined $500 for possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia for having several metal saucers with residue, a plastic container with residue and several syringes with multiple tie-offs on Dec. 11.

An April 29 pretrial was set for Jacob P. Cutchall, 36, U.S. Route 62, Damascus, charged with violating a temporary protection order after he allegedly went to the home of his wife, MaryRuth Cutchall, knocked on the door and when he was turned away, climbed through an upstairs window before coming downstairs to see his wife and children.

An April 29 pretrial was set for Christopher J. Lungsford II, 26, Massillon, charged with assault for allegedly punching his Lyft driver, Ishmael O. Asamoah, in the head in New Garden while he was on his way to East Liverpool for an appointment.

Travis L. Miller, 23, Hammondsville, was fined $500, credited with nine days in jail and required 50 hours community service for carrying a concealed weapon after he was found armed with a handgun in his front pocket while intoxicated at BK Beverage on Jan. 12.

Brandon S. Gust, 32, Prospect Street, Salem, was credited with seven days in jail, sentenced to an additional three days in jail, fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for obstructing official business and disorderly conduct for attempting to get into a Prospect Street, Salem, home while intoxicated on April 15 and walking away from police when he was ordered to stop.

Logan J. Stancato, 23, Boxwood Drive, Beloit, was fined $350 and credited with a day in jail for driving under suspension.

A May 3 pretrial was set for Matthew C. Ward, 32, Michigan Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with criminal mischief for allegedly sticking a toothbrush into the sprinkler head in his cell while an inmate at the county jail, which caused the sprinkler to break and activate costing $262 in damages.

A May 17 pretrial was set for Danny J. Shultz, 24, Cliff Drive, Salem, charged with theft and obstructing official business for allegedly refusing to come out of the house when ordered by Salem police on Tuesday and hiding in a crawl space. The theft charge is for allegedly failing to scan $137 in merchandise at the self-checkout at Walmart in Salem.

Tyler James McCaslin, 33, West Perry Street, Salem, was fined $150 for driving under suspension. A June 14 pretrial was set for additional citations of a taillights violation, speeding and failure to transfer the registration of a vehicle.

Bryan Martin, 34, North Market Street, East Palestine, was fined $300 for driving under suspension and speeding.

Jeffery Alan Puskaric, 53, Bell Road, Lisbon, was fined $200 for driving under suspension and speeding.

A June 7 pretrial was set for Daniel E. Earich, 40, Fifth Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with failure to stop after an accident, failure to control and a seat belt violation.

Jeremy Thomas Crihfield, 34, Continental Drive, Salem, was fined $200 for driving under suspension.

Caroline E. Biser, 24, Ridge Street, Leetonia, was fined $150 for theft for failing to scan $210 in merchandise at the Salem Walmart on April 3.

Thomas R. Hughes II, state Route 154, Negley, was fined $250, credited with 10 days in jail and required 40 hours community service for obstructing official business for fleeing on foot from a vehicle he had been riding in after the vehicle was stopped on Sept. 11, 2019.

James D. Courtwright, 47, state Route 154, Rogers, was fined $200 for distracted driving and an equipment violation amended from speeding.

James T. Crihfield, 34, Continental Drive, Salem, was fined $100 for open container.
