-- Suspicious activity was reported at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of Cleveland Street, where a caller saw a person looking through the windows of a vacant home with a flashlight. The person left on foot and was not found. Police found the home secure. Officers spoke to two people in the area who had nothing to do with it.
-- Police at 10:49 p.m. Tuesday spoke with a woman about a civil matter.
-- A reckless operator was reported at 8:24 p.m. Tuesday entering the city and pulling into Wendy's restaurant. Police searched the area, but contact was not made with the vehicle or driver.
-- Police at 7:42 p.m. Tuesday attempted to locate a person wanted through a Columbiana County warrant in the 500 block of Franklin and found him hiding in a residence. Danny Shultz, 24, of 1870 Cliff Drive, was charged with obstruction of official business and taken into custody on a warrant for theft and taken to jail.
-- A clerk at Smith Oil on East State Street reported at 6:19 p.m. Tuesday that 20 minutes prior, someone in a white van left without paying for $28.76 worth of gasoline.
-- Officers stood by at 2:24 p.m. Tuesday while housing/zoning officers served a notice/warning to the resident in the 900 block of South Lundy Avenue. Officers were called as a precaution as the resident was difficult at first.
-- A well-being check was requested at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of North Lincoln Avenue. The homeowner advised he is alright but was having medical issues earlier in the day and got them under control.
-- Cheyanne Clark, 27, of Lisbon, was cited for assured clear distance ahead after her eastbound vehicle struck the year of another eastbound vehicle driven by Cheyenne Cook, 23, of East Palestine, who was stopped for traffic at 4:30 p.m. Monday in the 2400 block of East State Street. No injuries were reported.
EAST APLESTINE
-- Monday evening officers responded to the 100 block of West Main Street for a domestic Violence complaint. The women had injuries and the man had fled from the scene. Charges are pending.
-- Monday afternoon the elementary school requested assistance dealing with a student from the school resource officer.
COLUMBIANA
-- Officers assisted EMS for a juvenile related call on Court Street at 4:47 p.m. Tuesday.
