LISBON — An April 18 preliminary hearing was set in county Municipal Court for Michael Ray Greathouse Jr., 32, Akron, charged with compelling prostitution, a third-degree felony; attempted sexual conduct with a minor, a fourth-degree felony; and possessing criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony. On Monday, Greathouse allegedly offered an undercover agent with the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force $140 in exchange for sexual acts with someone he believed to be a 15-year-old runaway and even offered to drive her to other outcalls in exchange for discounts in the future. When he arrived in Salem to meet the girl, he allegedly had two $100 bills that were found to be fake “prop” money.
John R. Wolfe Jr., 39, state Route 172, East Rochester, was bound over to the grand jury charged with domestic violence, a third-degree felony, and aggravated menacing for allegedly shoving Nicole M. Russell to the floor, choking her, gabbing her arms, punching her in the face and threatening to kill her on Feb. 20.
A June 13 pretrial was set for Bobby Joe Cusick, 52, Metz Road, Columbiana, cited with OVI third offense, OVI refusal third offense, driving under FRA suspension and taillights violation.
A June 16 pretrial was set for Michael S. Fay, 48, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, charged with OVI first offense and left of center.
A June 23 pretrial was set for Brendan Rhodes, 21, Pine Lake Road, Beloit, charged with OVI first offense, head lights and possession of marijuana.
Dennis McCartney, 42, Youngstown, was fined $1,100, had his license suspended for two years, sentenced to 30 days in jail and required 40 hours community service for OVI third offense and possession of marijuana.
Terry Libengood, 59, Washington, Pa., was fined $750, ordered to take the online course and required 20 hours community service for engaging in prostitution and criminal tools. On Dec. 29 Libengood offered an agent with the MVHTTF $100 in exchange for sex with a woman and arrived to meet the woman on Dec. 31.
A June 13 pretrial was set for John David Girardi Sr., 36, Struthers, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an advertisement requesting sexual acts in exchange for $70 on April 3. Girardi is also cited with disobeying a traffic control device.
A June 13 pretrial was set for Ralph G. Reaser, 61, Ravenna, charged with possession of criminal tools and engaging in prostitution for allegedly soliciting three sexual acts from an undercover agent with the MVHTTF in exchange for $75 and driving to Salem to meet the agent on March 31.
A June 13 pretrial was set for Patsy M. Orlando, 26, New Castle, Pa., charged with engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools for allegedly agreeing to pay someone he believed to be a woman $100 in exchange for sexual acts on March 23 in East Palestine.
A May 26 pretrial was set for Edward Jackson Wells, 54, Riffle Road, Lisbon, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly requesting sexual acts from an undercover agent with the MVHTTF on Friday in exchange for $100.
Michael A. Riley, 33, Youngstown, was fined $590 for driving under suspension, use of unauthorized plate, failure to yield and speeding.
Brandon Lee Speece, 28, state Route 14, East Palestine, was sentenced to five days in jail and fined $530.
Mitulkuma M. Patel, 45, Meadowood, Salem, was fined $250 for sale of tobacco products to person under 21 for selling a pack of Marlboro cigarettes to a 19-year-old at the Suburban Market on March 27.
Dorothy J. Snow, 73, Oak Street, Leetonia, was fined $250 for sale of tobacco products to a person under 21 for selling a pack of Marlboro cigarettes to a 19-year-old at the Salem Walmart.
A June 14 pretrial was set for Rickey Hines, 51, Depot Street, Rogers, cited with no license and loud exhaust.
A June 2 pretrial was set for Kevin G. Kiser, 42, New Garden Avenue, Salem, cited with open container and possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly having a small black baggie with a white crystal substance in the glove box of the vehicle on April 1.
A May 10 pretrial was set for Gavin Linden, 20, Crestview Road, Leetonia, charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct for allegedly yelling and screaming multiple times, even after he was ordered to stop, and pulling away from police attempting to take him into custody on Monday.
Gage M. Bush, 25, East North Avenue, East Palestine, was fined $150 for drug paraphernalia for having a blue grinder for marijuana.
Bobbi Leeanne Locke, 23, Trinity Church Road, Lisbon, was fined $150 for a stop sign violation.
Jacob R. Smith, 18, state Route 517, Lisbon, was fined $50 for driving with temporary permit violations.
