-- Officers responded to the 300 block of Rose Avenue at 5:20 a.m. Friday in reference to an irate person. The resident said she did not see the man, but heard him outside her home, and that he left before officers arrived. Officers searched the area but could not find the man in question.
-- Officers responded to the 400 block of Ohio Avenue at 12:23 a.m. Friday where a resident reported her juvenile daughter had gone to a friend's house and was under the influence.
-- Officers assisted medical personnel with a medical issue in the 700 block of South Broadway Avenue at 9:26 p.m. Thursday. Officers stood by until the patient was transported.
-- A West Pershing Street resident reported at 7:09 p.m. Thursday her ex had made harassing comments about her pets' living arrangements. No threats were found to be made and both people involved were told to go their separate ways and cease contact with each other.
-- Officers responded to the 500 block of Walnut Street at 6:02 p.m. Thursday where a caller said someone was on the property who did not live there and they did not want him there. The person in question exited the house and agreed to leave.
-- Officers responded to the 500 block of Walnut Street at 4:18 p.m. Thursday in reference to a person to be removed, but the person had already left before officers arrived.
-- An East Sixth Street resident reported at 4:03 p.m. Thursday his ex-girlfriend has a no contact order against him, but has been calling him, having people text him and has reached out on social media to his family. He said he has not responded to her or her friends but wanted the matter documented for any future issues.
-- Officers responded to the 1100 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 3:08 p.m. Thursday in reference to people going door to door asking about electric bills and possibly personal information.
-- Officers responded to the 300 block of Springdale Street at 9:51 a.m. Thursday to assist Perry Township police with a possible domestic. It was found to be a verbal dispute between household members.
PERRY TOWNSHIP
-- Officers responded to the 100 block of Stewart Road at 7:04 p.m. Monday to aid KLG and Perry Township Fire Department in a medical call. Officers provided first aid until EMS arrived. Police assisted KLG who transported the man to Mercy Health Youngstown.
-- Officers responded to the 1700 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 9:56 a.m. Tuesday for grass in the road. Officers checked the area but found no grass in the road.
-- Officers responded to the 1600 block of Van Burean Avenue at 6:22 p.m. Tuesday for a juvenile complaint. The resident stated his son had seen a neighbor they had an ongoing issue with in the shed behind his home. Officers took the report but were unable to speak with the juvenile as they were not home.
-- Officers responded to the 1200 block of Beechwood Road at 6:58 p.m. Tuesday for reports of a black car with an extremely loud sound system. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate an active noise issue. Police spoke with a man living on the street that had been warned prior about his sound system.
-- Officers responded to the 1200 block of Pembrooke drive at 4:37 p.m. Wednesday for a disabled vehicle. The vehicle was left in a lot by a newspaper delivery man and was blocking a paving project. Officers attempted unsuccessfully to contact the owner, and advised the caller they could have the vehicle towed.
-- An officer responded to North Lincoln Avenue at 5:06 p.m. Wednesday for a medical call. Officer arrived and stood by until KLG and Perry Township Fire Department arrived.
-- Officers responded to North Ellsworth Avenue at 8:09 a.m. Thursday for an injured groundhog in the roadway. Officers moved the groundhog to the side of the road.
-- Officers responded to the 300 block of Springdale Avenue at 9:53 a.m. Thursday for an ongoing domestic. Officers spoke with both parties who denied any physical violence between them. Officers informed them the issue was a civil matter that would need to be taken up with attorneys in court. Both parties were advised they needed to remain civil to not cause disturbances in the neighborhood.
-- Officers responded to the 1700 block of West State Street at 12:43 p.m. Thursday for a medical call. Officers assisted EMT and Perry Township Fire Department, following the ambulance to Aultman Hospital in case further aid was needed.
-- Officers spoke by phone to a West 14th Street woman at 1 p.m. Thursday for a neighbor complaint. Resident reported neighbor watches her constantly when walking outside her home, and that her father had told her all the neighbors cameras were pointing at their property.
-- Officers responded to the West 14th Street at 9:38 p.m. Thursday for a neighbor complaint. Caller complained of neighbor peeling out in their driveway. Officers spoke to a resident who was outside, reporting they hadn't heard anything. Officers checked the area finding no noise.
