SALEM

-- An officer responded to Centennial Park at 3:42 p.m. Saturday in reference to a juvenile that had been missing and had a confirmed warrant for delinquency out of the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office. The officer found the juvenile on a bicycle and the juvenile fled north on Park Avenue. The officer caught the juvenile at Park Avenue and Oak Street. the juvenile was processed and transported to the Tobin Center.

-- Officers responded to the 500 block of Maple Street in Washingtonville at 1:34 p.m. Saturday to assist the sheriff's office attempt to serve an arrest warrant. The wanted man fled east before officers arrived and was not found.

-- A patrolling officer at 10:39 a.m. Saturday observed a vehicle illegally parked in the 1900 block of Southeast Boulevard and the driver became verbally aggressive when told to move it. The driver was given a disorderly conduct warning and the vehicle was moved.

-- Officers responded to the 500 block of East Third Street at 10:54 p.m. Friday in reference to a possible domestic. Two people said they were just being loud and no altercation occurred. Officers returned at 1:32 a.m. where the man was irate and met officers outside. The woman was upset because the man wanted to continue to rap. She gathered her belongings and left for the night.

-- A K9 officer assisted the highway patrol on a traffic stop in the 1600 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 10:09 p.m. Friday. Contraband was recovered from the vehicle.

-- Officers responded to the 2500 block of Lexington Avenue at 9:52 p.m. Friday in reference to a possible assault earlier the previous week, but the victim did not want to pursue the matter and wanted to speak with the complainant about the issue.

-- An officer responded to the 500 block of Cherry Street at 9:27 p.m. Friday to assist the fire department with an illegal burning.

-- Officers and K9s at 6:26 p.m. Friday assisted the sheriff's office in checking several areas in the 2400 block of Lexington Avenue for a wanted person.

-- Salem officers and K9 assisted the sheriff's office with wanted person that was fleeing them in the 2800 block of East State Street at 3:32 p.m. Friday.

-- A Continental Drive resident reported at 2:27 p.m. Friday her medication if delivered to her home and someone had taken it without her knowledge.

-- Officers responded to the 100 block of West State Street at 1:29 p.m. Friday to assist the Ohio Attorney General's Office Human Trafficking Task Force on an investigation. The person in question was taken into custody and transported to the Columbiana County Jail without incident.

-- Officers responded to the 200 block of East Seventh Street at 7:26 a.m. Friday in reference to a vehicle that had been spraypainted.

-- Patrolling officers at 7:04 a.m. Friday observed graffiti on the garage door of a residence in the 200 block of East Sixth Street.

-- An officer responded to the 600 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 6:51 a.m. Friday in reference to a vehicle and a garage wall that had been spraypainted. A bag of clothing was also reported missing.

-- An officer responded to the 1000 block of East Third Street at 6:47 a.m. Friday in reference to two vehicles and a fence that had been spraypainted. The matter is under investigation.

-- An officer responded to the 200 block of East Eighth Street at 6:28 a.m. Friday in reference to a vehicle that had been spraypainted. The matter is under investigation.

-- An officer responded to the 700 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 6:14 a.m. Friday in reference to a business that had multiple walls spraypainted. The matter is under investigation.

-- An officer responded to the 400 block of East Third Street at 5:58 a.m. Friday in reference to a vehicle that had been spraypainted.
