LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a man accused of damaging several vehicles in the parking lot of Southern Local High School during a football game after being asked to leave pleaded not guilty to criminal damaging.

A pretrial was set Dec. 20 for Matthew Lautzenheiser, 45, West Line Street, Minerva, for the misdemeanor charge for allegedly walking among the parked vehicles at the Oct. 21 game and damaging multiple vehicles by bending license plates, breaking off side view mirrors and breaking off windshield wipers. He was ordered to stay away from Southern Local High School.

A preliminary hearing was set Nov. 7 for Shakeyla Bratton, 31, Youngstown, charged with illegal conveyance of a drug of abuse onto the grounds of a detention facility, a third-degree felony, for allegedly arriving for her work shift at the Columbiana County jail in possession of marijuana on Oct. 29. An affidavit by a county sheriff’s deputy said the sheriff’s office received a tip that the jail employee was bringing contraband to inmates inside the facility.

Michael A. Wilson, 52, U.S. Route 30, East Rochester, was fined $850 for engaging in prostitution, possession of criminal tools and possession of marijuana and was ordered to perform 20 hours community service and complete a 12-hour online course. Wilson arranged with an undercover agent to have sexual activity in exchange for money and arrived March 20 at the designated meeting spot in East Palestine.

Luis Carrillo, 24, New Springfield, was fined $650 for disorderly conduct, amended from engaging in prostitution, and possessing criminal tools. A charge of possession of drugs was dismissed. He was ordered to forfeit $70 to the East Palestine Police Department and permitted to buy out 40 hours community service. Carillo was accused of arranging for sexual acts in exchange for $70 and traveling on April 1 to East Palestine to meet an undercover agent.

Patrick Murphy, 23, Rootstown, was fined $750 for possessing criminal tools and disorderly conduct, amended from engaging in prostitution, and ordered to forfeit $80 to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force. He will be permitted to buy out 40 hours of community service. Murphy arrived in Salem on May 24 with his cell phone after arranging to meet an undercover agent for sexual conduct.

A pretrial was set Nov. 10 for Jeffrey Yocum, 44, Boardman, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly arranging to meet an undercover agent for sexual conduct in exchange for money in East Palestine on Oct. 30.

Craig D. Brown, 57, Ellwood City, Pa., was fined $500 for two counts disorderly conduct, amended from engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools, and was ordered to forfeit $80 to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force. He was permitted to buy out 40 hours community service. Brown had been accused of driving to Salem on May 24 to meet an undercover agent for sexual conduct after making the arrangements with his cell phone.

Marcus Chestnut, 32, state Route 517, Lisbon, was fined $200 for disorderly conduct, amended from domestic violence, and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 29 days suspended and credit for one day served. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service and to complete a parenting course. He was accused of threatening a woman with physical harm on June 16 in the 1200 block of West State Street.

A pretrial was set Dec. 20 for Dana Musulin, 40, Taylor Road, Negley, charged with three counts of failure to comply with workers compensation coverage. Musulin, owner of Dana Musulin Roofing, failed to report the required payroll and pay premiums owed to the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation for the periods from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 and from July 1, 2022 to the current time.

A pretrial was set Nov. 7 for Charity Todd, 22, Salem Unity Road, Salem, charged with assault for allegedly entering a vehicle through the passenger side and attempting to pull a woman out of her vehicle by her arm and hair on Oct. 30 on Salem Unity Road, Salem.

David VanHorn, 34, Bethel Drive, Salem, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct, amended from domestic violence. He had been accused of causing physical harm to a woman in Salem on April 15.

Brandon Powell, 29, Smith Street, East Liverpool, was fined $200 for disorderly conduct for an incident Oct. 28 in East Liverpool when he was seen thrashing around on the sidewalk, yelling random things and then had to be restrained from trying to harm staff and officers after being taken to the hospital.

A pretrial was set Dec. 29 for Jerry Malone III, 19, Canton, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly attempting to lie and deceive officers on Oct. 12 after they had been called to Family Dollar on East State Street for one to be removed on Sept. 29. He was ordered to have no contact with Family Dollar or Speedway, both located on West State Street, Salem.

Tiffany Anthony, 23, West Ninth Street, Salem, was fined $150 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 28 days suspended and credit for two day served, for disorderly conduct. She was ordered to complete 40 hours community service. Anthony could be heard yelling and arguing with a man outside while voluntarily highly intoxicated and continued to be argumentative while police conducted their investigation on Oct. 22 in Salem.

Jason Schilling, 42, Struthers, was fined $100 for disorderly conduct for defecating all over the restroom at Giant Eagle in East Liverpool while intoxicated on Oct. 20.

A pretrial was set Dec. 29 for Kristopher Dean, 28, New Springfield, charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs second offense, OVI breath second offense and left of center.

A pretrial was set Dec. 20 for Don Jewell, 56, Cherry Valley Drive, Leetonia, charged with OVI first offense.

Melissa Derov, 46, Boardman, was fined $100 for possession of marijuana.

Shaun Doughty, 29, Grant Boulevard, Minerva, was fined $300 for two counts unsafe vehicle, amended from a stop sign violation and speeding.

Luis Gonzalez, 44, Youngstown, was fined $75 for speeding.

Collin Zimmerman, 24, Hampton Place, Salem, was fined $300 for two equipment violations, amended from failure to control and reckless operation.

Kyiesha Littlejohn, 37, Youngstown, was fined $180 for driving under suspension and expired registration.

Michala Johnson, 23, Ellwood City, Pa., was fined $45 for speeding.
