MUNICIPAL COURT
LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a case against Travis Keener, 35, Hillcrest Road, Wellsville, was bound over to the county grand jury on charges of domestic violence, a fourth-degree felony, and misdemeanors of theft and unlawful restraint.
Bond had been set at $75,000 cash or surety and he had been ordered to have no contact with the victim. Keener allegedly caused physical harm to a woman at her Lisbon residence, dragging her up the steps causing injury, and restraining her in her bedroom after forcefully placing her inside, taking her cell phone and keys and barricading the door on Jan. 8.
James Englemann II, 50, Andover, was fined $750 and given a suspended 90-day jail term for engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. He was permitted to buy out 40 hours community service and $200 seized was forfeited to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force. Englemann drove to Salem on Dec. 16, 2022 to meet an undercover agent after arranging for sexual conduct in exchange for $200.
Kristie Guiser, 40, Norton, was fined $450 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, with credit for 10 days served, for soliciting, possessing drug abuse instruments and possessing criminal tools for coming to Salem on Jan. 9 for a sex-for-hire arrangement with an undercover agent in exchange for cash and having hypodermic syringes in the vehicle.
Amy Oates-Colyer, 44, Lisa Lane, Lisbon, was fined $150 and sentenced to eight days in jail, with credit for eight days served, for disorderly conduct, amended from domestic violence, for pushing a man during a domestic at a Lisa Lane residence in Lisbon on Aug. 26.
Michael Wertz, 25, Plymouth Place, Salem, was fined $250 and given a suspended 30-day jail term for menacing, amended from aggravated menacing. He was also ordered to complete 20 hours community service. Wertz threatened harm to the victim on Oct. 16, 2022 in Hanover Township, with the victim believing the defendent pointed a pistol with a laser at him.
Shawn Michael Cunningham, 35, East Eighth Street, East Liverpool, was fined $150 and sentenced to two days in jail, with credit for two days served, for criminal trespass for being at the Calcutta Walmart on Nov. 10, 2022 after being trespassed from the premises.
Steven Johnson, 71, state Route 14, East Palestine, was fined $25 for disorderly conduct for falling in the parking lot of Sparkle Market while intoxicated, causing patrons to call EMS and police on Jan. 2 in East Palestine.
Douglas Colwell, was fined $190 and sentenced to 60 days in jail, with 58 days suspended and credit for two days served, for obstructing official business and a tail lights violation. He was permitted to buy out 40 hours community service. Colwell was accused of throwing contraband under his passenger seat during a traffic stop on Nov. 13, 2022 in Columbiana.
Markeith Baker, 24, Pennsylvania Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 177 days suspended and credit for three days served, for assault. He was ordered to perform 40 hours community service. Baker punched a juvenile twice in the ear during an incident June 18, 2022 in East Liverpool.
Bud Hull Jr., 24, Laura Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $100 and given a suspended 30-day jail term for obstructing official business for delaying police responding to a vandalism call on Sept. 14, 2022 by yelling and screaming after being told to stop several times in East Liverpool.
Darla Baker, 37, Pennsylvania Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 28 days suspended, and credit for two days served for disorderly conduct, amended from assault. She was ordered to complete 40 hours community service. Baker was involved in a fight incident on June 18, 2022 in East Liverpool.
Cody Hostetter, 21, North Pleasant Drive, East Palestine, was ordered to serve 30 days in jail, with credit for 13 days served, after being dishonorably terminated from drug court on two charges of illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. One drug charge stemmed from Hostetter allegedly using or possessing drug paraphernalia on May 7 inside a garage on Grant Street, Salem. The other charge stemmed from a baggie of crystal-like substance under the passenger seat where Hostetter was sitting during a July 26 traffic stop in Salem, and a similar baggie inside his backpack. He also received a concurrent term of 30 days, with credit for 13 days served, and was fined $150 for a new charge of illegal use of possession of drug paraphernalia for having a meth pipe in a backpack during a traffic stop Jan. 6 in Salem.
Patrick White, 55, Boardman, was fined $150 and sentenced to 10 days in jail for criminal trespass for entering an apartment in Lisbon on Aug 4, 2022.
A pretrial was set April 3 for Derek Thompson, 28, Hazel Alley, East Liverpool, charged with theft for allegedly failing to pay a $12.80 cab fare in Wellsville on Dec. 23, 2022.
A pretrial was set Jan. 23 for Donna Partlow, 62, Boardman, charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, two lights displayed, and possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a crack pipe on Oct. 22, 2022 during a traffic stop in Columbiana.
Kari Lynn Osborn, 31, Riverview Street, East Liverpool, was fined $250 for a stop sign-school bus violation.
Jason Trombetto, 48, Industry, Pa., was fined $250 for a stop sign-school bus violation.
Randy Witherow, 55, Hanover Road, Salineville, was fined $300 for driving under suspension, expired registration and possessing marijuana.
Holly Ann Kirkpatrick, 42, Avondale Street, East Liverpool, was fined $290 for driving under suspension and failure to yield.
Tyler Holenchick, 26, Highland Avenue, Salem, was fined $150 for no license, amended from failure to reinstate.
William Wynyard, 47, McDonald, was fined $105 for no seat belt and failure to control.
