LISBON -- A woman accused of using her sister's information when originally charged for tampering with evidence in East Liverpool was served Thursday with a secret indictment issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury.
Karlee Walker, 22, whose address was listed as Ohio Avenue, East Liverpool, was charged with tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony, and a misdemeanor of obstructing official business.
The charges had originally been filed in county Municipal Court before the secret indictment was issued. Walker had allegedly identified herself using her sister Asa's information when charged for tampering with evidence after a March 5 incident on First Avenue, East Liverpool. A police affidavit said Walker was allegedly stopped for acting suspicious running and hiding in residents' yards and then stepped on a bag of white substance dropped by another person and threw it towards a house.
Also recently served with secret indictments were:
-- Allysin Grimm, 23, Vine Street, Salem, aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly possessing methamphetamine on May 14, 2022.
-- Dustin Whaley, 27, West Chestnut Street, Lisbon, possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly possessing cocaine on April 13, 2021.
