LISBON -- A Wellsville man has been sentenced for having sexual contact with a minor in tree house in Leetonia.
Chase Murphy, 29, state Route 39, Wellsville, was sentenced in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to 18 months in prison for a third-degree felony unlawful sexual conduct with a minor charge for having sexual conduct with a 15-year-old girl in a tree house in Leetonia last year. According to the indictment, the activity occurred from March 1, 2022 to Sept. 28, 2022. Murphy received credit for 176 days served in jail. He was also deemed a Tier II sex offender, requiring him to register his address every 90 days for his lifetime.
Also in Common Pleas Court:
-- Anthony Lucente, 64, Greensboro, N.C., was placed on probation for four years, but also ordered to serve 90 days in the county jail for attempted compelling prostitution, a fourth-degree felony. A charge of possessing criminal tools was dismissed. Lucente was originally charged with compelling prostitution for agreeing to pay a police officer posing as a juvenile for sexual activity on July 13, 2022. He was deemed a Tier II sex offender, requiring him to register his address.
-- Billie Ingledue, 26, Franklin Avenue, Salem, was placed on probation for 12 months after pleading guilty to a lesser offense of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, with a forfeiture specification of money in a drug case. Ingleue had been indicted for possessing an amount of methamphetamine equal to or more than five times the bulk amount but less than 50 times the bulk amount on March 9, 2022.
-- Nathan Elkins, 34, St. Clair Avenue, East Liverpool, was sentenced to nine months in prison for possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, with credit for 76 days served in jail. Elkins possessed cocaine on Sept. 26, 2018.
-- Sarah Wutrick, 36, Hartville, was ordered to serve 90 days in the county jail for violating the terms of her probation for trespass in a habitation, a fourth-degree felony. Her probation was dishonorably terminated. The charge stemmed from trespassing in a habitation on Oct. 21, 2019.
