-- Officers responded to a residence in the 800 block of Washington Avenue at 5:06 a.m. Wednesday for a possible breaking and entering. The caller advised he could see a man inside a vehicle on the property and the light inside would turn off every time a vehicle drove by. Officers spoke with a man in the vehicle who became uncooperative when officers attempted to identify him and was detained. Officers spoke with a woman inside the residence who confirmed the man was allowed on the property. The man was released.
-- Officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of East Third Street at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday for a wellness check. The caller advised a downstairs tenant had heard a loud noise that concerned him. Officers spoke with the resident who advised everything was fine.
-- Officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of East Perry Street at 7:14 p.m. Tuesday for a 911 hang-up call. Officers contacted a woman at the residence who advised her young child had her phone and must have accidentally called.
-- Officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of West Pershing Street at 6:48 p.m. Tuesday for a juvenile problem. The caller advised that a male juvenile was trying to leave the home and go to his mother's house, who does not have custody. Officers advised the juvenile that since his father has custody he cannot leave the house without his permission, the father eventually agreed to the juvenile going with his mother for the night.
-- Officers responded to the 1700 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 6:08 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a disorderly person. Officers advised the person of the complaint, and that if he continued, he could face charges for disorderly conduct. The person advised they understood and would go inside for the evening.
-- Officers spoke with a woman at the police department at 4:42 p.m. Tuesday for a report of fraud. The woman advised that she had noticed discrepancies in the total dollar amount in her bank account at Consumers Bank and went to investigate the matter. After obtaining a report from her bank she found that there were four unauthorized transactions totaling $640 that were sent to a PayPal account. The caller advised that she contacted PayPal and found the account the money was being sent to was her daughter's. The woman was able to close her bank account and wanted to pursue charges. Further investigation is pending.
-- Officers responded to a residence in the 2800 block of East State Street at 4:38 p.m. Tuesday for a report of possible identity theft. Officers spoke with the caller, and due to the nature of the incident the information will be forwarded to the drug task force.
-- Officers responded to the area of South Lincoln Avenue and the railroad tracks for a vehicle versus train accident. Officers checked for injuries and stood by until Perry Township officers arrived.
-- Officers responded to the area of North Cunningham Road and Bentley Road at 3:19 p.m. Tuesday for a reckless operator. Officers checked the area but the vehicle in question was not located.
-- Officers responded to a residence in the 200 block of Vine Avenue at 12:39 p.m. Tuesday for a domestic in progress. The incident was found to be verbal over relationship issues. The male half gathered some belongings and left to go to a friend's residence.
-- Officers responded to a residence in the 200 block of West Fifth Street at 12:33 p.m. Tuesday for an animal complaint. The caller advised that a dog has been tied up outside for an extended period of time. Officers spoke with the owner who advised the dog has been outside due to her cleaning the house. Officers did observe the dog to be in good health.
-- Officers responded to the 200 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 7:36 a.m. Tuesday for a dispute. The caller advised he could hear people arguing; however, officers were unable to locate the source of the complaint when they arrived.

-- Officers responded at 11:51 a.m. to East Clark Street to a welfare check request by Boardman Township Police on Tuesday. The resident was vacant.
-- Officers responded at 8:41 a.m. to a business alarm on East Taggart Street on Tuesday. An employee advised the code had been entered incorrectly and tripped the alarm.
-- Officers on patrol at 12:19 p.m. reported zoning violations on East Main Street on Tuesday. A junk vehicle notice was sent to the residence and the zoning officer notified.
-- Officers responded at 12:40 a.m. to Park Avenue to a welfare check request on Monday.
-- A woman at Sumner Street reported at 12:03 a.m. that she was being threatened via the telephone on Sunday.
-- Officers responded at 11:53 p.m to East Martin Street to the report of a suspicious person on Saturday. The subject could not be located.
-- A woman came to the station at 8:48 a.m. regarding a menacing/stalking complaint on Sunday.
-- A license plate was reported stolen at 2:16 p.m. by an employee of T&M Hardware on Saturday. The license plate was entered into LEADS as stolen.
-- Officers responded at 5:32 to Park Drive to a report of a found juvenile on Saturday. A woman reported she found a boy who had been dropped off by a family member and who said he was "scared." The juvenile was transported to the station and picked up by a relative.
-- An employee at Rite Aid on West Main Street reported at 7:02 p.m. on Saturday that toys had been dumped by the store's dumpsters.
-- Michael Harroff, no age or address given, was cited for operating a vehicle under the influence after a traffic stop at 8:55 p.m. on Bacon Avenue on Saturday.
-- Daniel Mikkelsen, no age or address given, was arrested for OVI and two headlights required after a traffic stop at 10:46 p.m. on Main Street on Saturday.
