-- Officers responded to the 1900 block of East State Street at 11:54 p.m. Sunday for a disorderly person complaint. Hospital staff advised the family of a patient were being disorderly and wanted them removed. The family advised that nobody at the hospital was being disorderly, but was at the house prior to transportation to the hospital. Officers advised staff to contact them further if they needed removed.
-- Officers responded to the 400 block of West State Street at 12:06 a.m. Sunday for a wellness check. Officers were advised that an elderly woman dressed in all black was stopping vehicles and asking for a ride to Alliance. Officers were able to locate the woman near the bypass who advised that she had a ride coming to pick her up. Officers spoke with the woman's friend on the phone who advised her boyfriend was on his way. Officers stood by until the woman's ride arrived. Perry Township officers also responded.
-- Officers responded to the intersection of Fairview Avenue and Whinnery Road at 9:04 p.m. Sunday for a report of motorcycles racing in the area and not stopping for stop signs. Officers sat stationary in the area for an extended period of time and no motorcycles were observed in the area.
-- Officers responded to the 200 block of West Fourth Street at 7:29 p.m. Sunday for a reported domestic in progress. The parties were already separated when officers arrived, and both advised that the incident was verbal only. Both had been consuming alcohol and were advised to stay away from each other for the evening.
-- Officers took a report of a sexual assault at the police department at 4:58 p.m. Sunday. The information will be forwarded to the detectives.
-- Officers responded to the 1200 block of Maple Street at 2:54 p.m. Sunday for a report of menacing. The caller advised that a woman they knew was threatening them via text and Facebook. Officers read the text and viewed the post and found nothing criminal. The caller was advised to block the woman in question.
-- Officers spoke to a woman at the police department at 2:09 p.m. Sunday for a report of menacing. The woman advised that while she was at the store a woman she knew made threats of harm toward her. The woman did not want to pursue charges at the time and didn't want officers to speak with the woman but wanted the incident on file.
-- Officers responded to the 1200 block of Southeast Boulevard at 11:31 a.m. Sunday for a report of lines down. Officers confirmed the lines were just cable lines and not in the roadway.
-- Officers responded to the 2200 block of Southeast Boulevard at 11:13 a.m. Sunday for a report of a distraught person. Officers spoke with the people involved and advised them of their options for dealing with the situation.
-- Officers responded to the 1400 block of East Pershing Street at 1:28 a.m. Sunday for a barking dog complaint. Officers contacted the homeowner and advised them of the complaint. The owner advised they would let the dog inside.
-- Officers responded to the 300 block of West Pershing Street at 11:53 p.m. Saturday for a possible sex offence. Officers gathered the information and forwarded it to a detective.
PERRY TOWNSHIP
-- Officers spoke with a woman by phone at 7:54 p.m. Sunday who advised that his ex had mentioned coming to the residence at some time to gather property and that he does not want her there when he is not home. Officers spoke with the other person who advised she would not be going over to the residence that evening.
-- Officers responded to the area of Georgetown Road near West Perry Street at 1:12 a.m. Sunday for a noise complaint. Officers located the residence having a fire and playing music and advised them to call it a night. Officers informed the residents of the noise ordinance time frame and that they would be cited if it happened again.
-- Officers responded to a business in the 500 block of West pigeon Road for a report of a suspicious vehicle that had been in their parking lot for a few days. Officers made contact with the owner of the vehicle who advised they normally park their truck in the lot but parked the car instead. Officers advised the owner to contact the business owner to get the issue cleared up.
-- Officers responded to the 1000 block of East Third Street at 2:21 a.m. Saturday to assist Salem officers with a possible breaking and entering. Officers arrived and searched the residence, and advised it was clear. The keyholder was contacted and the building was secured.
-- Officers responded to the area of Old Coach Lane and Devonshire Drive for a fireworks complaint at 12:16 p.m. Friday. Officers spoke with a man at the residence and advised him of the complaint. He was within his rights to set off fireworks until 10 p.m. and advised he would do so.
-- Officers responded to a residence in the 800 block of Georgetown Road at 9:08 p.m. Friday for a loud music complaint. Officers spoke with the homeowner and advised them of the complaint. It was advised that the music would be turned down.
-- Officers were flagged down in the area of Pine Lake Road for a report of a license plate that was found in the area. Officers recovered the license plate.
-- Officers responded to the 1100 block of North Union Avenue at 7:57 p.m. Thursday for a medical call. The caller advised he needed to go to the hospital but didn't want to leave his wife home alone. EMT and the fire department responded, and officers stood by until the caller's granddaughter arrived to care for her grandmother. EMT transported the caller to the Salem hospital.
LISBON
-- No injuries were reported after an accident on East Lincoln Way near Jackson Street at noon Saturday. No citation was listed on the report, but a driver who hit the gas and rear-ended another stopped eastbound vehicle was listed at fault.
-- Officers were dispatched at 2 p.m. Friday to the Lepper Library, East Lincoln Way, to assist with a medical call involving a man who fell and cut his head. EMTs transported him to a hospital.
-- Police were called at 7:16 p.m. Thursday to Circle K on North Market Street for a man sleeping behind the wheel. Officers found the man out pumping gas. He said he had been on the phone with his wife. No clues of intoxication were found.
-- Police were called at 7:08 p.m. Thursday to Days Inn, state Route 154, for people sitting at picnic tables drinking, but no one was found.
-- A reckless driver was reported coming into town from north state Route 45, with the caller saying the light green Toyota SUV almost hit another car head-on. The vehicle was not found.
-- A welfare check was requested for a North Market Street address at 1:33 p.m. May 3. Officers were unable to make contact with the homeowner.
-- Police were dispatched at 11:02 p.m. May 2 to Days Inn on state Route 154 for one to be removed. Hotel staff said two occupants in a silver Ford Expedition were told they would not be able to rent a room. Contact was made with the man and woman in the parking lot where officers told them they were trespassed from the property.
-- An open 911 line was reported at 7:21 p.m. May 2 at Lisbon high school. Officers spoke to teachers and were able to determine it was accidental.
-- Officers were flagged down at 10:35 p.m. May 1 in the parking lot of Save A Lot on East Lincoln Way by a person who said he was hearing a woman's laugh coming from the vents and wanted police to clear his apartment. Nothing was found.
-- A woman on Pritchard Avenue at 10:43 a.m. May 1 reported she and a male had been arguing since the night before and she wanted him to leave. He agreed to leave and did after gathering his belongings. The woman was told by police that she needed to clean up the house since four kids are living there. The officer planned to return the following week to she if cleaned up.
-- An officer on patrol at 2:40 a.m. May 1 checked on a suspicious vehicle behind Smith Oil after business hours. The occupants said they had flown to New York City for work and were in the process of taking a road trip back to North Dakota and were looking for a safe place to sleep for a few hours. They were checked for warrants and then told where to safely park and sleep for a few hours.
