-- Deputies spoke to a woman at 1:19 p.m. on Spillway Road in Hanover Township who reported her vehicle was taken without permission on Thursday. The woman did not want to press charges or file a report. A refusal to prosecute was obtained.
-- Deputies on patrol discovered a gate open at Crestview Elementary School on Middleton Road in Fairfield Township at 3:17 a.m. on Thursday. After a check of the property and building, everything was found secure.
-- Deputies assisted the Ohio Highway Patrol with an accident at 5:40 p.m. at state Routes 7 and 558 in Fairfield Township on Thursday.
-- Deputies responded to an alarm at the Abundant of Life Church on state Route 46 in New Waterford at 1:47 a.m. on Thursday. A door was found unsecured but the building was cleared and found to be unoccupied. The door was secured prior to deputies leaving.
-- A Carrollton woman contacted the department to report she has been unable to make contact with her daughter on Wednesday at 8:04 p.m. Officers spoke to the daughter on Quaker Church Road in West Township who advised she did not wish to speak to her mother.
-- A New Waterford woman reported she heard a female screaming in the woods behind her residence at 10:47 p.m. on Wednesday. Deputes searched the woods but found nothing out of the ordinary.
-- Deputies responded at 8:44 p.m. on Tuesday to West Lincoln Street Extension in Salineville to a report of a disturbance. On scene, a man reported that the woman who lives at the address took his vehicle and cell phone and left the car at a location in Jefferson County. Deputies provided the man a courtesy ride home.
-- Deputies responded at 2:54 a.m. to Dutchtown School Road in Elkrun Township to an alarm on Tuesday. Upon arrival, deputies discovered pry marks on the doors. Deputies cleared the residence and made contact with the homeowner. Photos and video surveillance were gathered for evidence. Themater is under investigation.
-- Charlie L. Piper, 43, was arrested on a warrant out of Marshall County, W.Va., at a Washington Street, Salineville, home at 4:20 p.m. Sept. 2.
-- A Depot Road, Center Township, resident reported at 12:13 p.m. Sept. 2 her ex-husband had been driving by throwing trash in her driveway.
-- A Georgetown Road, Butler Township, resident reported at 11:09 a.m. Sept. 2 several bushes had been cut along the back line of the caller's property.
-- Deputies responded to the area of Tomahawk Drive in Negley at 12:20 a.m. Sept. 2 in reference to people walking near the roadway, Deputies checked near the road equipment and found no apparent damage or anyone in the area.
-- A deputy responded to the area of Westville Lake at the dam access for a suspicious vehicle at 11:41 p.m. Sept. 1. The vehicle was found to be reported stolen from Smith Township and was towed, with the owner notified.
-- Mitchel D. W. Muntean, 42, was arrested for a protection order violation, a fifth-degree felony, after officers responded to a South Lundy Avenue, Salem, home at 3:11 p.m. Sept. 1.
-- Deputies were advised of criminal damaging in the 30000 block of U.S. Route 30 at 9:01 p.m. Aug. 31.
-- Deputies responded to the 12000 block of state Route 45 in Madison Township at 1:31 a.m. Aug. 28 in reference to a domestic dispute and found it to be a verbal argument.
