GRAND JURY
LISBON — A man already charged with felonious assault and domestic violence for an East Liverpool incident was served Tuesday with a secret indictment for allegedly assaulting a corrections officer at the Columbiana County jail.
Robert K. Barrett, 39, West Ninth Street, East Liverpool, was charged with assault, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly knowingly causing physical harm to corrections officer Clint Reynolds on Aug. 19 while incarcerated on the East Liverpool case.
The case against him for allegedly assaulting a woman in East Liverpool between March 19 and March 22 remains pending.
Also served with secret indictments issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury were:
— Travis Keener, 36, North Beaver Street, Lisbon, fifth-degree felonies of aggravated possession of drugs and possession of fentanyl-related compound for allegedly possessing methamphetamine and fentanyl on Jan. 4, 2023.
— Nathan Knight, 39, North Market Street, Lisbon, fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs for allegedly possessing methamphetamine on Jan. 30, 2023.
