-- Deputies were dispatched at 4:06 a.m. Saturday to Hammond School Road, Madison Township, for a person trespassing on a property, but no one was found.
-- A woman on Hartley Road, Knox Township, reported a domestic violence dispute at 2:04 a.m. Saturday with her boyfriend. They both signed a refusal to prosecute.
-- A woman on Ridge Road, West Township, called at 11:58 p.m. Friday to report hearing multiple gunshots in the area. A deputy checked the area, with no contact.
-- A North Shore Drive, Knox Township, resident reported at 9:47 p.m. Friday that she received a notification from the camera outside her residence that someone was walking on the property. A deputy checked the area, but found no one.
-- An alarm was reported at 8:17 p.m. Friday at Envelope One, state Route 344, Fairfield Township. A deputy met with the owner and all doors and windows were secure.
-- Deputies were dispatched at 4:57 p.m. Friday to Dairy Queen, state Route 45, Center Township, for a suspicious person trying to hitchhike. Deputies spoke to the man, who had just been released from the Columbiana County Jail, and gave him a courtesy transport to Sheetz on St. Clair Avenue, St. Clair Township.
-- A deputy was dispatched at 4:22 p.m. Friday to state Route 170, Middleton Township, for a welfare check. Dispatch advised to disregard because the person was fine.
--Joseph T. Moore, East Fifth Street, Salem, was taken into custody and taken to the county jail at 4:05 a.m. Friday after a deputy spotted him in the parking lot of Hull's Super Duper, state Route 172, Hanover Township, after business hours. He had an active warrant out of Columbiana County Municipal Court for failure to appear on domestic violence.
-- A noise complaint was reported at 12:07 p.m. Oct. 1 on Tower Road involving a neighbor blasting a bluetooth speaker toward the caller's property. Contact wasn't able to be made. A door hanger was left on the neighbor's door, but no call was received by the deputy.
-- A business on U.S. Route 62 reported at 11:44 a.m. Sept. 22 that a customer didn't return a motorcycle seat after a test run. The customer never returned the seat and the credit card on file failed to process. The woman from the business was told it's a civil matter. A deputy made contact with the customer and advised him of the complaint and to contact the shop to resolve the issue.
-- A woman from state Route 170, Middleton Township, reported at 9:03 a.m. Sept. 22 that $250 was taken from her account.
