SALEM REPORTS
- An officer responded to the 600 block of Sharp Avenue at 5:52 p.m. Friday where a resident reported a woman had cleaned her house that day and after the woman left, she found money missing from her and her husband's wallets.
- Brian William Rice, Diamond, was arrested on an active warrant out of Columbiana County and cited for possession of marijuana paraphernalia after officers responded to the 100 block of West State Street at 4:37 p.m. Friday to assist the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force in taking him into custody. Officers seized $180 in evidence and other contraband was confiscated which will be sent for testing. Additional charges are pending.
- An individual reported on station at 4:02 p.m. Friday being contacted by written letter by someone incarcerated against whom she has a protection order. The individual was advised to contact the courts.

-- Dakota S. McCluskey, 31, Lisbon, was arrested on an active warrant out of Columbiana County after an officer observed him walking with another person in the 200 block of Front Street at 12:18 a.m. Nov. 22 and questioned them, believing them to be underage, finding McCluskey to have the warrant.
- A caller at Nov, 21 requested a welfare check conducted on a gaming station at a Waddell Street home from which he had recently been evicted and the remaining resident was not giving him it back to him. The remaining resident said she did not have the item and the caller would not report it as stolen. The caller was advised officers only do welfare checks on humans.
