LISBON — Recently in Columbiana County Municipal Court, an East Liverpool woman was bound over to the county grand jury following charges stemming from the execution of an arrest warrant on Dec. 20. Kristal Keyes, 39, Claiborne Street, East Liverpool, was bound over to the grand jury, charged with obstructing official business, a felony five. Keyes allegedly refused to comply with orders by the U.S. Marshals Task Force and refused to come out of a locked bathroom during the arrest of William Keyes on Dec. 20 at a residence on Y&O Road.
A pretrial hearing was set Jan. 4 for Kalyon May, 23, Youngstown, charged with engaging in prostitution, possessing criminal tools and obstructing official business. May allegedly answered an undercover online ad and agreed to exchange $140 for sexual activity. When May showed up for the arranged meeting in East Palestine on Dec. 18 and was confronted by authorities, he reportedly fled on foot and later withheld his name from officers.
A preliminary/pretrial hearing was set Jan. 4 for Bresha Meadows, 24, Warren, charged with fourth-degree promoting prostitution, fifth-degree felony possessing criminal tools and soliciting. Meadows allegedly posted an online ad offering sex for hire and offering to bring a “friend” to a meeting on Dec. 26 in East Palestine to exchange sexual activity for money. Meadows reportedly transported another female to the meeting to perform sexual acts.
A pretrial hearing was set Jan. 4 for Devon Rawson, Etruria Street, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence. Rawson, 19, allegedly shoved and struck a female in the face at his residence on Dec. 26, leaving visible injuries.
Robert Lee Vandyke, 29, Blakely Street, East Liverpool, was fined $450 and sentenced to 90 days in jail for three counts of aggravated menacing. Vandyke chased a woman down the street in East Liverpool with a gun in his hand, threatened her and then threatened two men who tried to intervene on Dec. 16, telling them to mind their own business.
A pretrial hearing was set for Jacob Faigen, 31, Pittsburgh, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. Faigen allegedly answered an undercover online ad, agreeing to exchange $80 for sexual activity and traveling to East Palestine to do so on Dec. 27. He is also charged with OVI second offense and OVI refusal.
Carmen Russo, 38, Canfield, was fined $500 for two counts of disorderly conduct amended from possession of criminal tools and engaging in prostitution. Russo reportedly responded to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranged for sexual activity with a female in exchange for $140 and traveled to East Palestine on Oct. 14 for the meeting.
A pretrial hearing is set Jan. 4 for William Santimarino, 35, Hibbits Mill Road, Hammondsville, charged with telecommunications harassment. Santimarino allegedly sent voice, text and social media messages to a Wellsville man threatening to “split” the man’s head open and made 47 calls to the man in a 12-hour period on Dec. 13. Santimarino is also charged with two counts of driving under suspension, two lights displayed and speeding. Those charges stem from a traffic stop in April of 2020.
A pretrial hearing was set Jan. 16 for Robert Butcher, 34, McKinnon Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with theft. Butcher allegedly failed to pay for an item worth $65 from the Calcutta Walmart on Dec. 17.
A pretrial hearing was set April 2 for Marsha Cleveland, 54, East State Street, Salem, charged with disorderly conduct. Cleveland allegedly continued to yell after Salem officers warned her to stop while investigating a neighbor dispute regarding raked leaves on Dec. 25. Cleveland also was reportedly issued a citation and refused it.
Corey Cantwell, 24, Greenlane, East Liverpool, was fined $150 and sentenced to 12 days in jail with credit for 12 days served for criminal trespass. Cantwell was at an apartment in East Liverpool on June 29 while on the trespass list of the Columbiana County Metropolitan Housing Authority.
A pretrial hearing was set March 21 for Jaymee Cayo, 30, no address, charged with two counts criminal trespass. Cayo allegedly had been residing in a Lisbon garage without permission on and around Dec. 13. Cayo also reportedly entered the Lisbon Dollar General store, from which she was previously trespassed, on Dec. 19
A pretrial hearing was set April 4 for Dillon Allen, 30, Birch Road, East Liverpool, charged with assault. Allen allegedly tried to entice a physical altercation with another man by spitting on him while meeting for a custody exchange in East Liverpool on Dec. 26.
A pretrial hearing was set April 4 for Sharon Tarnovich, 63, state Route 7, New Waterford, charged with theft. Tarnovich allegedly failed to pay for $407 worth of items at Giant Eagle in Salem on Dec. 10.
Mark Kierta, 35, Chester Avene, Wellsville was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 suspended and credit for two days served and fined $250 for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence. Kierta punched another man after an argument on Dec. 19 in Wellsville.
Troy Oyer, 30, Rochester Road, Minerva, was fined $300 and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 suspended and credit for one day for assault amended from domestic violence. Oyer grabbed a woman and pulled her down steps. The complaint was filed Aug. 4.
A pretrial hearing was set March 28 for Nathaniel Ford, West Main Street, Salineville, charged with theft, obstructing official business and illegal use of drug paraphernalia. Ford allegedly stole a cooler containing a water sample collected by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency from the Salineville Water Treatment Plant on Oct. 25. The incident was reportedly caught on security video, showing a black truck pulling into the water treatment plant and a male passenger getting out and taking the cooler. The truck, in which Ford was a passenger, was later stopped on West Market Street and the cooler allegedly found in the back.
A pretrial hearing was set Jan. 4 for Ryan Guidos, Irondale, charged with drug paraphernalia. A glass pipe with white residue was allegedly found in Guidos’ possession following a traffic stop on state Route on Dec. 27. He is also charged with no turn signal.
Jacqueline Hill, 20, West State Street, Salem was fined $400 for resisting and obstructing official business. Hill allegedly failed to comply with officers during a domestic disturbance investigation in Salem on Aug. 11. Hill reportedly walked away from officers and eventually had to be wrestled to the ground.
Anthony Dukes Jr., 27, Lancaster, was fined $185 for driving under suspension and speed.
A pretrial hearing was set April 11 for Steven Faulkner, 39, Middle Street, Columbiana, charged with OVI and left of center.
Marshall Cowin Jr., 18, Canfield, was fined $150 for equipment violation, amended from speed.
A pretrial hearing was set April 2 for Shane Knepper, 53, Ohio Avenue, Salem, charged with driving under suspension.
A pretrial hearing was set March 18 for Stephenie McGhee, 35, Steubenville, charged with driving under suspension and speed.
