-- Officers responded to Blossom Nursing Home at 11:28 a.m. Saturday to take a report of an incident between two residents. The director of nursing advised that two residents with dementia were in the hallway together when the man mistook the woman for his deceased wife, and grabbed the woman by the arms and began to shake her asking why she left him. Staff were able to separate the two parties, and the director of nursing spoke with the responsible parties of both residents who declined to pursue charges due to the mental state of both patients.
-- Officers responded to the 1900 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 9:53 p.m. Friday for a report of a suspicious man moving items out of the back of a church. Officers spoke with the man, who advised that he was moving items out because the church was closing down.
-- Officers responded to the 600 block of East Sixth Street at 1:43 p.m. Friday to assist the Columbiana County Drug Enforcement Task Force in executing a search warrant.
-- Officers responded to the 400 block of Plymouth Place at 5:56 a.m. Friday for a wellness check on an elderly woman who repeatedly called 911 about her furnace. Officers ensured the caller's heat was working and the caller was in good health.
-- Officers responded to the 300 block of West Pine Lake Road at 4:11 a.m. Friday to assist Columbiana County Sheriff's Office deputies execute an arrest for an incident that occurred earlier in the night in Lisbon. Deputies and officers spoke with Justin Davis, 39, Salem, who was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Columbiana County Jail by deputies.
-- Officers responded to the area of Cunningham Road near state Route 344 at 7:43 p.m. Thursday for a report of a suspicious person on a bike. Officers patrolled the area but were unable to locate anyone.
-- Officers responded to the 1100 block of the Prospect Street Extension to assist the Columbiana County Drug Enforcement Task Force in serving a felony warrant. The homeowner confirmed the wanted person, Steve Colian, 44, Salem, was in the basement of the house. Officers were unable to locate Colian and Alisha Phillips, 22, Salem, informed officers that he was not in the basement. After ordering Colian to come out from hiding officers located him in a hidden crawlspace. Colian was placed under arrest for the felony warrants as well as obstructing official business. Phillips was arrested for felony obstructing justice. Both subjects were transported to the Columbiana County jail.

-- Officers responded to the 400 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 3:06 a.m. Tuesday for a 911 hang-up call. Officers attempted to speak with the caller but were unable to locate them.
-- Officers responded to the 500 block of Bank Street at 1:43 a.m. Tuesday for a person to be removed. Officers spoke with both parties, and the female half was given a transport to a family member's house
-- Officers responded to the 300 block of Hawley Avenue at 7:33 p.m. Monday for a neighbor dispute. The caller was advised to contract their landlord and make him aware of the complaint. The report will also be forwarded to the health department.
-- Officers responded to the 600 block of East Fourth Street at 6:51 p.m. Monday for a speak with officer report. The landlord believed her tenant had possibly violated a protection order through social media. The incident has been sent to the prosecutor's office for review.
-- Officers responded to the 700 block of East Third Street at 4:04 p.m. Monday for a domestic dispute. Officers spoke to both parties who advised of a verbal altercation and officers advised them to separate for the night.
-- Officers responded to the 2400 block of East State Street at 3:10 p.m. Monday for a report of suspicious activity inside a vehicle. Officers spoke with the occupants of the vehicle, observing nothing suspicious, and advising them of the complaint.
-- Officers responded to the 100 block of Rose Avenue at 2:10 p.m. Monday for a reported domestic in progress. Officers spoke with the involved parties, determining the matter to be a verbal dispute between a mother and her adult son with no physical violence reported. While on scene the mother requested officers advise the son that he was no longer welcome at her residence.
-- Officers responded to the 400 block of East Pershing Street at 1:32 p.m. Monday for a wellness check. Officers spoke with the person in question who advised she was okay and did not need any assistance.
-- Officers responded to the 200 block of Ohio Avenue at 1:25 p.m. Monday for an animal complaint. The caller advised that a dog had been off its leash and had growled at her. The caller was able to provide the name of the animal's owner but stated that the owner does not live in the area. Officers will attempt to contact the animal's owner.
-- Officers responded to the 600 block of Washington Avenue for a report of theft. The caller advised that his trailer had been taken some time during the night. The caller filled out a stolen vehicle form and the trailer was entered into LEADS.
-- The school resource officer was advised of an issue with a male student and two female students which began on Dec. 28 at 10:44 a.m. Monday. The officer was advised that the alleged harassment had continued. After a brief investigation the officer and administration found the matter was mutual harassment between all parties and everyone was advised to stay away from each other.
