LISBON-- In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a case against Joseph Desarro, 30, Duke Vodrey Road, East Liverpool, was bound over to the county grand jury for third-degree felony tampering with evidence and third-degree felony failure to comply with an order, for allegedly attempting to flush suspected cocaine and fentanyl pills down the toilet during a search warrant execution in East Liverpool on Feb. 12.
A pretrail was set March 21 for Nick Rhodes, 50, old state Route 344, Leetonia, charged with assault and resisting arrest for allegedly grabbing, punching, and kicking a man at an address on old state Route 344 in Leetonia on Wednesday.

A charge of domestic violence against Robert Chester, 53, West Pershing Street, Salem, was dismissed without prejudice due to the state's witness not appearing.
A pretrial was set March 18 for Ryan Thompson, 41, Jennings Avenue, Salem, charged with theft, criminal trespass, and possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly being found with a glass pipe with residue in his possession while trespassing on private property in Salem Wednesday.
Samuel Stickel, 43, Pulaski, Pa., was fined $750 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 30 days suspended, leaving zero days left to serve, for disorderly conduct, amended from engaging in prostitution, and possession of criminal tools for responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a female in exchange for $240 using the cell phone found in his possession in East Palestine on Aug. 3, 2023. Stickel was also ordered to perform 40 hours of community service.
Jimmy Anderson, 33, Pine Hollow Road, Lisbon, was fined $100 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, with 10 days suspended, leaving 0 days left to serve, for criminal trespass for trespassing on private property he had previously been told not to in Leetonia on Feb. 25.
Lawrence Cline, 29, Independence Square, Wellsville, was fined $150 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 178 days suspended and credit for two days served, leaving zero days left to serve, for assault, amended from domestic violence, for pushing a woman to the ground and choking her during a domestic at a residence on Independence Square in Wellsville on Nov. 7, 2023.
Buddy Richardson, 45, Parma, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 180 days suspended, for endangering children. On a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs- first offense, Richardson was fined $875 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served after completion of a driver intervention program (DIP), leaving zero days left to serve. Richardson was also ordered to perform 40 hours of community service and his driver's license was suspended for one year with privileges. Richardson was charged with OVI after being pulled over in East Palestine while driving with his 13-year-old child on Dec. 23, 2023. Richardson was having trouble keeping his eyes open and swaying back and forth during the sobriety test and told police he had been taking methadone and gapapentin.
A restitution hearing was held for Chad Hiles, 38, West School Avenue, Salem, and no restitution was ordered in the case per the prosecutor. Hiles was found guilty in October 2023 on charges of OVI-second offense/breath 0.17 gram, hit skip/leave scene, driving under suspension/restriction, and assured clear distance.
A status conference hearing was set May 6 for Dallas Poling, 45, Butcher Road, Leetonia, charged with domestic violence for allegedly threatening to kill two women during a domestic on Dec. 31, 2023 at a Butcher Road, Leetonia address.
Donald Bucklew, 75, West Main Street, New Waterford, was fined $1,100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 105 days suspended, leaving 75 days left to serve, for OVI and open container. Bucklew's driver's license was also suspended for two years.
Rachel Giles, 37, state Route 14, East Palestine, was fined $975 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served after completion of a driver intervention program (DIP), leaving zero days left to serve, for OVI- first offense and left of center.
A pretrial was set April 15 for Zion Figley, 21, Muscovy Drive, East Palestine, charged with OVI- second offense, OVI breath 0.08 gram- second offense, and expired license.
Frederick Reeder Jr., 28, Oakwood Village, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 179 days suspended and credit for one day served, leaving zero days left to serve, for attempted possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia for possessing three plastic bags containing trace amounts of methamphetamine during a traffic stop in Columbiana on Nov. 24, 2022.
Chelsie May, 35, Canton, was fined $250 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with credit for one day served, leaving 29 days left to serve for possession of a drug abuse instrument for being found with syringes and suspected methamphetamine during a traffic stop in St. Clair Township on June 11, 2021.
Robert McQuillan Jr., 65, Main Street, Columbiana, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct for public urination in Lisbon on March 1 and fined $250 for driving under suspension from a separate incident.
Amber Jones, 43, School Road, Wellsville, was fined $100 and sentenced to 16 days in jail for criminal trespass for being found living in a condemned house in East Liverpool on Jan. 28.
A pretrial was set May 21 for Steven Cable, 29, Beaver, Pa., charged with violating seat belt law- driver and drug paraphernalia for allegedly having in his possession a glass pipe with burnt residue during a traffic stop in East Liverpool on Feb. 22.
A pretrial was set March 14 for Joseph Long, 47, East Fourth Street, Salem, charged with obstructing official business and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly being found with a baggie containing a white powdery substance after he was stopped in Salem after police received a report of a suspicious male in the area on Tuesday.
Anthony Angellone, 26, Sprucevale Road, East Liverpool, was fined $1,250 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served upon completion of a driver intervention program (DIP), leaving zero days left to serve, for OVI, park on highway, seat belt, driving under suspension, and failure to control. Angellone's driver's license was suspended for one year with privileges.

Dylan Milhoan, 22, Calcutta Smithferry Road, East Liverpool, was fined $200 for driving under suspension and speed.
A pretrial was set April 11 for Samantha Cook, 30, state Route 164, Columbiana, charged with stopped school bus.
A pretrial was set June 3 for Daniel Morris, 42, McCoy Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly depositing a mobile check and then going to the bank and cashing the check in St. Clair Township on Feb. 7.
A pretrial was set May 30 for Maeci Madison, 27, Steubenville, charged with driving under suspension, violating seat belt law- driver, and speed.
Eric Rogers, 50, South Hollywood Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $100 for driving under suspension.
Cole Hamilton, 27, Carolina Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $100 for stop sign- school bus.
Erick Meredith, 38, Orchard Knoll Drive, Lisbon, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.
Debbie Chamberlain, 62, Elkton Road, Lisbon, was fined $100 for stopped school bus.
